Nice stop

Awesome place to grab a coffee after a morning hike around the crater. Views of the crater are incredible and the fireplace has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.

The food at lunch was good. At breakfast it was fine. Dinner was horrible. There aren't very many places to eat in volcano and no place to buy groceries so unless you plan ahead this is a good lunch option. But dinner wasn't good. The "streak" had strange sauce and still wasn't cooked to the correct temperature after being sent... More

Was not expecting gourmet food and so wasn't disappointed. Instead a nice warm room with some good, not out of this world, food. Service began a little slowly but improved as the meal progressed. Started with the mushroom caps which were very tasty. Then salads for both of us which I found just fine. I had the fresh fish (ono)... More

The restaurant selection in Volcano is limited so we decided to give this restaurant a try after reading good reviews on tripadvisor. The service was horrible. Took 20 mins to get our drinks and the waitress could have cared less. The food was average at best. We had the duck breast which was cooked well but the fat cap was... More

We stopped here after spending a morning at Volcanoes National Park. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food menu is interesting. My husband had an antelope burger!

The crab cakes were really good. The service was a bit slow but our server apologized for the wait and offered a wonderful chocolate cake for the inconvenience. We enjoyed our dinner but it is a bit pricy.

This little restaurant was absolutely delightful! We had spent the day in the National Volcano Park and found this restaurant listed in The Lonely Planet book. The atmosphere was comfortable, had a fire going, and had a varied menu. We had antelope, lamb and Ono, all were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant, plus they take reservations. A special note, our... More

Our ono was fresh, my pasta was half pasta half veggies. Good flavors. The prices are lower than a resort on the west side. And the view is 1 of a kind. (Note: you can't see the lava lake from the lodge, but you see crater and the glow at night.

Fresh, good prices for this area. Had the fish sandwich (catch of the day was ono fish) and it was delicious. Also had the beet soup - borsht. Great! Fast and friendly service. If you're in the Park all day make this quick trip out for lunch. Save your receipt for the Park.

This country inn is located just outside Volcano Park. The rooms are very roomy, comfortable, with a large bathroom with all the amenities. We enjoyed several breakfasts and dinners in a large charming room. The wait staff were pleasant and well trained.
