This place was really nice...they were put of some of the menu options, but all of our dinners were excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, the place had a cozy feel, and the food was quite tasty. more

We stayed three nights and ate in the restaurant twice. Both meals were spectacular. Nice wine menu, too. The chef seems to have a strong German influence. My first experience with hasenfeffer, and the bar has been set impossibly high! more

Unique food in the heart of the Volcano -- very much a farm-raised hunting lodge, game-meat kind of place. I had antelope, for instance (which was delicious, by the by). We really enjoy our experiance here, there dinning room has a living room like feel, very welcoming and homey. After a day of hiking it was great to relax with sound of their fire in the hearth, and the wonderful flavors of there food. Very friendly staff. more

Yes, well, it is the best restaurant in Volcano, no argument there. The menu is eclectic, you may get duck ala orange, or perhaps a snitzel or Lord knows.
