I ordered take out at this restaurant for the first time today. The food was NOT good at all, pretty flavorless. The chicken was tough and overcooked. I ordered L-2 Sweet & Sour with Chicken & Shrimp. They charged me for the shrimp and didn't include it in my order. The soup was dishwater and tasted of the plastic container... More

Food was good. Thankfully our server cautioned us on the spicey scale. Mild with a little heat was perfect. Medium was very spicy. We had the thai badil stirfry, pad thai and green curry dish. All were tasty.

We went here for dinner tonight after a suggestion from a local and reviews from here. The atmosphere is kind of silly, but so what. The food however was amazing! We had the chicken soup pad Thai and coconut curry. We had intended to save some food for left covers, but it was so good we just kept eating. Be... More

Great food and good specials! We had the Pad Thai dishes and the service and food were both great! We also had our clothes in the dryer next door while we ate after getting soaked on our hike.

We chose the Thai Thai quite by accident when looking for a dinner place, waiting for the sun to set in order to view the Halemaumau glow at the Jagger museum. We had excellent, prompt service despite the sudden tourist rush that afternoon. The decor is sparse and spotlessly clean, yet not inspiring, but wait until the food arrives! We... More

This is an interesting Thai restaurant in a place you are not really expecting to find one. The food here was above average and the value was reasonable given the location.

I'm a hard core Thai fan and this place is a find. Service was excellent and my kids who can be picky loved it. They are smart and carry stuff for little kids and uneducated eaters like hamburgers etc. They have a nice little bar with cold beer. Enjoy this spot.

We've been coming here for years and the food has always been excellent. Love the expansion. I would recommend all the meals although be careful of deciding on the heat of the spices as hot means hot!

We drove into Volcano looking for some dinner and stopped at the Thai Thai. Coming into the restaurant we wondered what kind of place this was... it looked a little like a cafeteria, but we were welcomed by a smiling hostess. I chose the Penang curry and was completely smitten! My husband was also very happy with his sweet and... More

If you are like the visitors who stay late in the evening to view the Kilauea eruption from the Jagger Museum or late evening hikes around the crater, this restaurant is a decent place to grab dinner before driving back to Kona or Hilo. Nice and spicy flavored Thai food with some beer to go.
