Food and service were good. Lots of people go there so get there early. We got there at 5:30pm and it was already getting full.

We stopped by for lunch after visiting the Volcano Winery (GREAT PLACE!). There were 3 of us in our party and took several minutes waiting to be seated even though there were only 2 or 3 tables taken at the time. The bus boy goes to seat us at the closest table to the door. Was very put out when... More

Ate here a couple of times during our stay at the volcano. Food was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Fresh coffee selections next door. We'll be back

The people who waited on us were super helpful, accommodating our family group and one member's experimentation with uniquely Hawaiian cuisine. Breakfasts were delicious. The waffle-pancake group were offered lilikoi syrup, as well as maple, and the omelets were nicely cooked. Dinner was pretty basic, but good, with hamburgers, pulled pork and fresh fish.

Delicious food for a great price! Crowded, so we were there awhile, but it was totally worth the wait.

I'm not sure what all the below average reviews are talking about. I've lived on the Kona side of this island for 18 months and this one little place has shown up every place in Kona when it comes to service. Everyone including bussers were Johnny on the spot whenever I needed anything and BEFORE I asked for it. Dirty... More

We were asked to wait longer than seemed necessary - there were several empty tables . After we ordered the server kept coming back and saying that they were out of potatoes. Then it was Taro bread etc. To top it off the server realized that appetizers were not served when she bought the meals. Also the "real" Hawaiian music... More

The chef modified some dishes for the vegetarians. The Coconut Haupia was delicious. The plates were Hawaiian size. There were several local Hawaiians and great live music. We went there early - around 5:30 pm. The place filled up quickly and we saw people waiting outside when we finished.

This place is dirty and understaffed. No one even acknowledged us for 15 minutes. Our drink orders were taken but never came and no one even came back to check on us. We ended up leaving.

We were on a circle tour of the Big Island and this was our stop for lunch. The driver had called ahead informing them that 46 people would be there in about 30 minutes to eat. We had also made menu selections that he had forwarded to them to speed up the process. When we arrived, there were assigned tables... More
