My girlfriend and I stopped here after trying a couple restaurants and being disappointed. The vegetarian chili is some of the best I've had ever. The sandwich was your basic sandwich, but it was huge and delicious! Great place to eat.

We were stuck on a hot day looking for a place for lunch . There are limited choices here in Volcano. The place is small. You order and sit down outside. The place is nothing special, but the food was a good value.

A hole in the wall cafe with some outdoor table, they make exceptionally good sandwiches without the fuss (chips, over complicated bread etc) which after being in US for almost a week was a welcome relief. Choose from roast beef, turkey, pastrami or tune and load up with yummy salad items and choice of several cheeses with mayo and mustard.... More

Stopped in after a four hour hike. Had a delicious Kua (local) coffee and tasty vegetarian chili. Recommend this place before or after hiking the volcano park. Great snacks, drinks and/or hiking picnic items. Very inexpensive. Very casual!!!

I don't know why this cafe has $$$$ on TripAdvisor. We found it to be affordable. We spent less than $30 for breakfast for four...and snacks for the day. That is not expensive (especially if you compare the prices with the local resorts). The people who run the cafe are super friendly. Also, It is obvious that our money was... More

We timed our visit to the National Park without taking into account our hunger. This was the first place that we saw so we stopped and fueled up. It was not great, but not bad either. The outdoor setting and our hunger made this a bit better than it actually is.

Ok so the title has a bit of hyperbole, but we are by the volcano! Friendly staff and great food, nice cool weather to boot. The place to eat before you get incinerated by the lava. . . Or not. Love the drive here, sit out on the patio and enjoy this beautiful corner of the world. Great sandwich to... More

We stopped by here to pick up some sandwiches to eat. We were surprised at how large the sandwiches were! The staff recommended that they wrap half for us to have for later. It was a great idea! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The sandwich I had was delicious. The cranberry nut bread was fresh. This is definitely the... More
