We ate here twice. The sandwiches and salads are excellent. Breakfast is good, too. The prices are reasonable. It is just outside the national park. Locals come here, as well as visitors and, as I said in the title, the staff are very friendly.

Generous potions and hearty fare. Right in Volcano Village behind a convenience store on Haunani Road. The area to order food in the building is tiny. Be patient and relax. Good food comes to those who wait patiently. Imminently packable for a picnic lunch. Even us locals grab food from there all the time.

A great find. Very hawaiian. Casual picnic bench dining with wonderful sandwiches salads and deserts. We didn't eat breakfast but there were egg bowls others appeared to really enjoy. Woman taking orders was gracious and friendly. Sandwiches are huge'. Order a half!

Very cramped inside but well worth the visit. We ordered half sandwiches which were about the size of a normal sandwich.

Great food at great prices seems to be the rule at this little gem just outside Volcanoes National Park. We stopped for lunch after a long hike in the Park and had a wonderful meal. The café doesn't look like much, and it was tough to find a seat since it was raining and much of the seating is uncovered.... More

The sandwich was huge. Turkey and cheese on their specialty bread. My wife and I split it and it was plenty for lunch.

I highly recommend stopping in at the little cafe before heading out to explore Volcano NP. Awesome sandwiches which are huge! you can get just a half sandwich also. Get it to go for a picnic in the park while you are enjoying one of the many great hikes.

Great sandwiches, nice picnic benches/tables outside to eat. Nothing fancy but good value and tasty.

We stopped here to pick up a picnic lunch for a drive/hike which they packed for us. The sandwiches are huge-they cut the bread loaf lengthwise rather than crosswise. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. Overall a very good value.

We stopped here for lunch to try a little something different from Volcano House. The lunch and value were both excellent. You order inside and sit at a picnic bench outside. We felt like locals!!
