Great lunch place

We took a break from exploring Volcano National Park for a lunch break. Small area to order food, super friendly ladies working. Food was brought out to us at the picnic table area. Huge, yummy sandwiches, we took half home. Lau lau plate was tasty too. Try the spam musibi for something different.

Went here with our extended family (group of 11). Sandwiches are made to order and are very tasty. They looked like they had some other good hot meals. This is a small place with picnic tables outside and basic (but good) food. If you're looking for a quick, easy, and relatively cheap lunch, this place is great.

We shared a LARGE and very good made-to-order sandwich and had more than enough to eat. We also shared a chocolate pecan tart for dessert -- also very good. All the seating is outside but much of it under cover so even on a rainy afternoon it was quite comfortable.

We love to stop here before we venture out for the day to buy their fantastic sandwiches made from fresh breads and a great assortment of meat and condiments. We put our sandwiches in the cooler and have a picnic during the day. Their sandwiches are huge! Half of a whole sandwich will fill me up (along with their great... More

This was in a book we bought on places to see/eat and what not on the big island. Still satisfied with every place we went to! This cafe had amazing sandwiches and soup. Not only that it was so fresh and they were the nicest people ever.

For such a tiny cafe / takeaway shop, this place has a great atmosphere! Breakfast was delicious and I sat and ate surrounded by birds who obviously wanted some of my tasty food! Staff are friendly and helpful and offered things such as the wifi password and to bring my food out to me without having to ask. Friendly locals,... More

Four of us had an early lunch here before going to Volcanoes national park for the day. The ladies in the cafe were so sweet and helpful and we loved their inspirational Christian signs too! Three of us had beef stew which came with a choice of brown or white rice, and my husband had a terrific chicken and rice... More

We stopped here for lunch after the morning at Volcano National Park. Friendly service and all the food is made fresh and to order. I had the soup which was amazing, really tasty and my partner had a sandwhich, which was huge but full of fresh ingredients and tasty. Nice variety of breads to choose from also. Definitely recommend.

We dropped by the Cafe for lunch after exploring the nearby Kilauea Crater. You order inside & take-out to the picnic tables outside. There's an assortment of tasty deli-type food & local dishes available. Prices are reasonable and portions adequate. The day that we were there, a local musician was playing her ukulele and performing local Hawaiian songs. It was... More
