Great spot for lunch

We had an early arrival in Hilo and were headed to VNP for the day and wanted to grab a quick and filling bite before hitting the Park. We "Yelped" for the area and this place came up with good reviews, so we headed over. Great find. We were really pleased. Very diverse menu - tasty quiche and... read more

Sandwiches are huge and were excellent and so fresh on delicious cranberry/macadamia nut bread. Also scored a HUGE brownie for $3 that was super good.

Food was great! Service was even better. Try the corn bread it's wonderful. The staff was also kind enough to give both of my kids an amazingly delicious brownie. Great place to eat.

If you're heading into Volcanoes national park for the day, stop here first and stock up on picnic provisions. Or leave the park and have lunch here - there's an outdoor seating area. In the park you'll find NO food or drinks other than water fountains. Here you'll find tasty homemade sandwiches (huge!) quiche (delicious!) and all manner of tasty... More

Great and inexpensive breakfast. Not much for aesthetics, but the staff is friendly. Only had breakfast there on the way out of town. We'll be back.

We stopped by Cafe Ohia on our way into Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The cornbread was fantastic, and our sandwiches were good, but nothing special. The staff running the counter were very friendly, and were willing to get you anything you needed. Overall, this was a good lunch stop.

Went here with our extended family (group of 11). Sandwiches are made to order and are very tasty. They looked like they had some other good hot meals. This is a small place with picnic tables outside and basic (but good) food. If you're looking for a quick, easy, and relatively cheap lunch, this place is great.

We took a break from exploring Volcano National Park for a lunch break. Small area to order food, super friendly ladies working. Food was brought out to us at the picnic table area. Huge, yummy sandwiches, we took half home. Lau lau plate was tasty too. Try the spam musibi for something different.
