Tasty lunch!

We stopped here for lunch! It had a great selection of vegan and glulten free food. I was surprised that even my son and husband who are usually not fans of vegetarian food both got the spinach lasagne and loved it! I had a wonderful grilled sandwich and tasty salad. The selection is wonderful. Make sure to stop and browse... More

After hours of driving around the island to visit volcano national park and the green sand beach, we were starving! One of rangers at the park recommended Cafe Ohia which is only a few miles outside of the park. It doesn't look like much but do not let it's appearance fool you. The mother/daughter team running the place made some... More

Great sandwiches with something for everyone! We ate outside on the picnic tables. We also bought sandwiches for the 9 hour flight home.

If your visiting the volcanoes national park you will soon find out that the only place to eat there is a hotel and that's no good if you just want a snack. So drive down the road to volcano and pop into the cafe. Plenty of free parking outside this little cafe. It doesn't look much from the outside but... More

Went looking for this place based on reviews and found they were closed on Sundays! We ended up at lava rock cafe. Just wanted to post accurate information.

Best sandwiches this side of Island. They are huge, one sandwich feeds two people. Great place to stop before the Park for a great Picnic Lunch to take a long. If you're coming from Kona pass the Park and take a left into Volcano Village. The sandwich shop is just behind the Volcano Store.

Just thought it was important for readers to know they close at 5pm. We drove here for dinner since trip advisor said they were open to 7 and they were closed.

Ate here two mornings in a row. The location is great and the food is local and fresh. You can't really ask for anything more from Volcano. Be warned that the sandwiches are fairly large.

Good food, basic menu. Good lunch stop on the way to/from Volcano park. Deli sandwiches, a few hot plate specials.
