We went for breakfast while staying at a guest house in Volcano. While the menu was somewhat limited, our family of 4 found everything we needed. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were very tasty, as was the spinach quiche. The breakfast bowl with rice, eggs and Portuguese sausage was also very good. While ordering breakfast, we decided to get some sandwiches... More

What else can you say. Coffee was great, pecan pie was great, service was great, price was great! Outside seating - a place to stop on the way to see volcanoes.

Subs, soups, salads and quiche. Potato salad, macaroni salad, bean salad, hello for the kids or older people. Hehe. Sports drinks, sodas and more. Everything was great.

Got a turkey sandwich with cranberry macadamia nut bread! So large we saved the other half for hiking in the afternoon. Not overpriced compared to the other restaurants in or around VNP. Would return in a heart beat!

We stopped for lunch. $10 got us a very big sandwich that was good enough to split and they do some nice breakfast selections. Staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable. It was a great place to get take out to have for a hike with us. Small menu but good quality served with aloha.

My husband and I split a sandwich - it was plenty big for 2. Price was reasonable and I recommend the cranberry mac nut bread - yum.

The people here were lovely and so was their food. They made my sandwiches to my exact specifications (though I suspect they thought I was a bit bonkers). Their coffee was really good too. I felt like this was a place that real, local people went and it was not particularly aimed at visitors and all the better for it.

Lau lau pork was odd tasting almost like it was old meat and it was overcooked. Also ordered a red colored chicken meal. It was odd tasting. Almost like it was also old meat and overcooked. I'm happy there was macaroni salad and rice (standard with all plate lunches) because I would't have gotten full otherwise. Their pie was good... More

* Price:$10 for a huge gourmet sandwich. 3+ star. * Ambiance: small counter but there are plenty of out door seatings. Keep in mind you are in a very remote area. 3+star. * Location: in volcano village. About 15 minutes from the park. Next to the volcano village market. Plenty of parking. 4 star. * Meals: freshly baked local breads,... More

This is basically a road side stand and all seating is outside, which, in my opinion, is perfect. It can be a little rainy, but the temperature is always appropriate for outside seating and many tables are covered. It is a deli, with several very good sandwich choices as well as good soup. We spent two nights in the park... More
