Just had lunch there with my husband. The restaurant was small and busy but we were seated very soon as a group just left. We are not vegetarian and my husband actually doesn't like veggies. But we both really liked the food at Ono cafe! We shared the Lasagna and Artichoke panini which each came with fresh bread (the best... More

The waitresses were so nice, one of my companions ate his lasagna quickly (he loved it ) and they offered him another slice gratis !! I don't see that very often . None of us are vegetarians yet we all loved out food. We had lasagna, soup and salad

our host Ira, was friendly and fun, and we loved his art work displayed in the cafe. He has an amazing collection of art and the gift store displays the work of many local artists. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared.

What a taste of paradise in the middle of volcanic park. Lovely unexpected cafe with delicious food so wholesome and feeling healthy all day as a result. I had the sweet potato casserole and side salad with garlic bread. I can't recommend highly enough the vegan carrot cake sitting at a viewpoint on the crater road. Gardens and art gallery... More

My friend Glad and I were running really late one afternoon and we arrived at 0255pm in late October. Their restaurant was closing in 5 minutes but they still took us in and served us "Ono" food (meaning delicious) and they received us with great aloha! We are from a neighboring island and never knew this place existed. They serve... More

My husband and I went to Cafe Ono at the advice of our hosts of a local VRBO and Trip Advisor commentators. We were not disappointed with food, although it was a long time in coming. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry and our, server, Fawna, was most apologetic.....she deducted the cost of my husband's drink from the Bill.... More

What a delightful surprise to find such tasty and healthy lunch on a road trip to the volcano. I had the squash soup and my husband had the chili and salad. The flavors are a taste buds sensation. Very beautifully presented and garden fresh. Take time to enjoy the grounds and gallery and talk to Ira, the owner. He is... More
