A must stop after driving the scenic Pepeekeo drive. Great selection of smoothies, sandwiches and goodies. Their garden is filled with beautiful flowers. Service is excellent.

The Akaka Falls zip line crew recommended this place for lunch, it did not disappoint us, these were the best smoothies I've ever tasted, they don't use anything but fruit and juice grown right on the premises and they can't be beat. We both had the kickin' chicken wrap, very good with lot's of beans, I spiced mine up with... More

We were dying for a healthy lunch and felt like we'd gone to heaven. Had a couple of smoothies, shared the turkey wrap and bought their dried apple bananas for take away snacks. Delish.

This was a great stop on a hot day! The smoothies were excellent as was the taro burger! They have a good variety of options and the service was very friendly.

There is absolutely no comparing the fruit grown in nutrient rich volcanic soil that is fresh versus whatever frozen or commercially grown, pesticide laden products national smoothie chains use. With that fact stated, yes What's Shakin smoothies do have a definite banana flavor regardless of choice since bananas are the base instead of ice...yummy & potassium. (FYI at places like... More

This is a cute little stop on the scenic drive off Hwy 19. You're really there for the beautiful drive but if you're thirsty, stop for a smoothy. We had the Lava Java. It was pretty good but heavy on the banana and light on the java. $6 for a 16oz smoothy. They also had baked good and sandwiches.

Found this on the scenic road off of hwy 19 just north of Hilo. Real fruit smoothies with no added sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Enjoyed the wraps. Peaceful setting. We made a special out of the way trip next day just for another smoothie. Very clean!

This is a great stop in the midst of incredible scenery. I ordered a smoothie and brownie. They have a great variety of smoothies, sandwiches, and deserts. What I had was very good. The brownie was rich, creamy, and oh so chocolatey. One of the best I have ever had. It's more fudgey than cake like. I don't like those... More
