Their cheeseburger and french fries is my Monday addiction or the teriyaki short ribs!! Both hamburger and short ribs are grilled to perfection. The fat on the ribs has just that right crunch and juiciness... (if you know what I'm talking about, your mouth just watered!, if not...oh you must try it!) You will NOT find "this" teri Flavor anywhere,... More

Stopped at this café for lunch on a weekday. I'm told that this is a fairly new establishment. Food was good, serving size was more than expected. I had a combination plate with the shoyu chicken and pork adobo. Both were very tasty. Served with rice and macaroni salad.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant after driving around Pahoa' and the near by community. We couldn't get any closer to Pahoa' then this restaurant as the lava was consuming Pahoa'. While we where there. What a very sad thing to have happen. This was a family ran restaurant from what we where told. The food was fresh.... More

went to aloha lehua cafe on a whim to try island style food and was surprised how good it could be. Not all menu selections were available at our visit, but we settled for Loco moco and teriyaki chicken. Both dishes were excellent and I think their loco moco is the best in Pahoa. After our first visit we came... More

My friend and I went to Aloha Lehua on the recommendation of a local who lives in the area. Man! The seared ahi was amazing! It was rung up by a young girl who was very sweet, and gave me information about the Volcano and showed me pictures of the lava tube. Her mom, the owner, was an extremely nice... More

Eating here was very confusing - and this review may be as well! Here goes: We had a coupon with a $20 minimum and after ordering we were a few dollars short, so we ordered 2 Chicken & Rice soups. A new server came to check on our soup order - she wasn't our original server, but we didn't think... More

I love the idea of supporting our local youth, but they need a lot more education on how to run a restaurant. As former restaurant owners, my husband and I were extremely disappointed! The food was partially frozen and when we notified our waitress, she responded by saying, "no problem we can nuke it in the microwave." Also, they were... More

Having been to the old KFC when it still was KFC I have to say this is an improvement. It was their first day, and training is still in progress. That said, I have no complaints. The food was Ono! ( the hawaiian natchos are highly recommended ) but I actually enjoyed a MONSTER Laulau about the size of 5... More
