Just ok for us

Had takeout red curry, fried rice and fresh and fried rolls. Average at best. Had brown rice with curry and it was inedible. Weird grainy stuff. Did not stop here again. Nice people, cute place but...we have so many good Thai choices here at home to compare to and this wasn't special for us... read more

This restaurant was recommended by the B&B that my fiance and I stayed at and we were really glad that we tried it. The people are very nice. The food is very good. We ordered their papaya salad to start with. My fiance was skeptic but always willing to try my recommendations. He loved the papaya salad as much as... More

Great place to get thai food. Love the brown wild rice rice! The chicken stir fry with peanut sauce and spinage is a real winner!!

The curry meal came in a shallow bowl with a scoop of rice. Normally I have curry left over when the rice and solids are gone. Here I ran out of curry. Wife's basil dish with veggies was just so-so. Service very good. Funky place in a funky town. Not a bad place food wise just not exceptional.

We really enjoyed this place. We love Thai food and we also love hot & spicy food, but a lot of restaurants always tone it down on the spice. Not here ... if you ask for hot, it really is hot! Atmosphere was cute, great menu and all the food came out hot and fresh. They don't serve alcohol so... More

Ning Thai restaurant is a nice place to sit and have lunch in Pahoa. Service is friendly & fast, and prices are fair. However, what turned me off was the amount of sugar they put in every thing. We ordered three dishes and I was wondering if the second ingredient was sugar in all of them. Papaya salad tasted more... More

Staying in Kapoho for the holidays and decided to go for Thai food. We had seen Ning's whilst driving through the town. Really glad that we ate here, the food is very good. We had the soup, pad thai noodles and several curries. Everything was delicious and the portions were good sized. We might even go again this trip! The... More

Ning's is a cute restaurant, perfect for a date in my opinion. The food was excellent and the table by the window was great. If I had a girlfriend and wanted to take her for a romantic dinner, Ning's would be one of my first choices.

My brother bought a house in the area and the kitchen hasn't been installed yet so eating out can get old. But Ning's is really good and we looked forward to going here. The curries, the coconut soup, the chicken basil dish...soooo good. And coming from the mainland mango and sticky rice is not always available or good. Not the... More
