We really enjoyed this place. We love Thai food and we also love hot & spicy food, but a lot of restaurants always tone it down on the spice. Not here ... if you ask for hot, it really is hot! Atmosphere was cute, great menu and all the food came out hot and fresh. They don't serve alcohol so... More

Ning Thai restaurant is a nice place to sit and have lunch in Pahoa. Service is friendly & fast, and prices are fair. However, what turned me off was the amount of sugar they put in every thing. We ordered three dishes and I was wondering if the second ingredient was sugar in all of them. Papaya salad tasted more... More

Staying in Kapoho for the holidays and decided to go for Thai food. We had seen Ning's whilst driving through the town. Really glad that we ate here, the food is very good. We had the soup, pad thai noodles and several curries. Everything was delicious and the portions were good sized. We might even go again this trip! The... More

Ning's is a cute restaurant, perfect for a date in my opinion. The food was excellent and the table by the window was great. If I had a girlfriend and wanted to take her for a romantic dinner, Ning's would be one of my first choices.

My brother bought a house in the area and the kitchen hasn't been installed yet so eating out can get old. But Ning's is really good and we looked forward to going here. The curries, the coconut soup, the chicken basil dish...soooo good. And coming from the mainland mango and sticky rice is not always available or good. Not the... More

I'm not a big fan of Thai food, but I recently ate here and don't know why I didn't come here sooner. The food was excellent and for the price the portions are perfect. Very good food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Whenever we visit Puna we make a trip to Nings for their great food and local ambience. The service is friendly and a window seat allows for great people watching along the Main Street in Pahoa.

Wow!! Nings has just topped our previous "best Thai food restaurant". We heeded previous travellers' warnings and turned the spiciness down a notch. (There is a note on each table that there are no refunds for "too spicy" food). The flavor of the food was excellent, with the subtle flavors of minor ingredients coming through as we like. Highly reviewed... More

We have eaten here many times and loved it. Now, the future is uncertain as the lava flow is headed straight for Pahoa, and many shops are closing. If Ning's survives the lava (Pele please stay away!) then you should definitely check this place out -- it's wonderful.
