The baked goods are amazing! Make sure you get some home made bread and PIE! Prices are reasonable, and portions generous. Wonderful spot to stop when you're midway to the volcano - or if you're visiting the most southern tip of the US! Great home made food.

After a day of volcano hiking we stopped in this little place off the beaten path. With a large group we thought we would overwhelm the place but our waitress, Michele, took good care of us. Lots of new and different items (to us) on the menu. BBQ pork, spam, burgers, a good mixture of plates. All our food was... More

Just finished visiting Volcano National Park and stopped here with a big group. Michele was the best waitress. She handled each order with ease. Kudos to the cook who got it all right. Why is the fresh fish so good on this island? The price is right and the portions are generous. Try the Macadamia Nut Pie. It's to die... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Hilo back to Kona. It was very quaint, the food and service were both very good. It was all fresh, local food. The desserts were fabulous. Will definitely return.

We stopped by midweek for lunch. The waitress was surly and the atmosphere nonexistent, but the food was great! The prices were average for lunch in Hawaii ($20+tip for 2 people). My husband had a cheeseburger and I had a reuben sandwich.

This was the worst place I have eaten in my life! We waited 20 minutes for someone to bring a menu. There were only 3 other tables with customers. The waitress was in a bad mood. We finally were waited on. The food was terrible. I would recommend picking up a sandwich at the Sweetbread bakery down the road. It... More

One very grumpy manager. Fairly busy lunchtime but she clearly didn't want us or likely anyone else there. We ate a really nice pie and ran. Wanted to eat more but were not going to enjoy it however good it was. Very basic decor.

My wife and I were driving back to Waikaloa from Volcanoes National Park (southern route) and the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. We kept driving and saw a sign for "the southernmost restaurant in the US." We were really hungry, so stopped in. Initially, I was disappointed - somewhat unenthusiastic reception and long wait to get menus... More

We stopped here on the way to the black sand beach. Picked up a salted caramel bar, a chocolate peanut butter brownie and a passionfruit bar. All very yummy. No crumbs left!

Awesome small restaurant in Naalehu; the food was great, prices are okay (approx. 10$-15$/ dish. the macadamia nut chicken and the fish and chips are really good. There was a band when we went on a Friday night (bottle of blue); awsome. Sit back, relax and eat!
