Good food, cozy atmosphere, a little over priced

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Mi's. The food was good, though a little pricey, but we especially loved the pineapple sorbet for dessert. I was surprised by how nice the atmosphere was, considering that it's just a restaurant on the side of the road that's entirely indoors.

Was recommended this restaurent. Service was good and we were promply seated. We had made reservations and it was a good idea to do so as the restaurent was full. Food was ok, but not great. My meal was basically scallops, shrimp, fish in some sort of tomato sauce. My wife had one of the specials - a Italian Shepards... More

We were here for a month two years ago and went to Mi's three times. Here for three weeks this trip and ate there only once, yesterday, we leave tomorrow. Shucks. Made the mistake of not going a week ago, on my birthday, when I decided to try Sam Choy's instead. Still one of the best around the Big Island... More

This was a little break from your normal Hawaiian atmosphere. No view, a little hard to find, but great service and good food. A little more romantic than than most island restaurants. Not very big so I would suggest reservations. A very pleasant, peaceful evening.

We went to Mi's about once a week during our couple of months on the Big Island this winter and every single visit was OUTSTANDING! You can't miss with the Daily Brushetta as a starter! Chef always puts together fresh, interesting favor combinations and with a glass of Prosecco, PERFECT! If you're feeling like a salad, the Marinated Beets is... More

We've visited this location multiple times - the food is wonderful and the service is very good as well. Fresh pasta, good consistent quality. This is a good place for couples or for a family.

It's the best restaurant on this part of the big island. The restaurant is small, reservations are required. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is excellent, but don't expect fast --- good food takes times. The wine pairing was excellent as well.

We loved our experience at Mi's Italian Bistro. The food was great; Although, believe them when they tell you that it's hot like "lava". I burned my mouth so bad that it blistered. But I still thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service.

Great food! Make a reservation, you won't be sorry. The best Cesar salad we have ever had. The main courses were fantastic. Treat yourself and try this place.

The Mamalahoa Highway on the west side of the island of Hawai'i is not known for fine restaurants, which generally seem to be more common in the resorts along the shore. An outstanding exception is Mi's Italian Bistro, right on the Highway, just south of the feeder roads to Kailua Kona in South Kona. Our dinner at Mi's was an... More
