You just have to go, and not think about it.

Ok, so it could be cleaner (although it looks like it has been updated since last year?) We have gone 4 or 5 times. And it is just good food. We were driving around the island and started our day by having breakfast at the cafe. You can always tell if a place is going to be good based on the lineup to get a table. The food was great and the coconut pancakes were very good and filling. A lady sitting beside us mentioned that all the left overs... More

Three of us came here for breakfast. Two ordered the sweet bread French toast and I ordered the Kalua hash and eggs. I wanted to try one of their specialties. Well I was so disappointed. The hash had nothing but chewing, hard pieces (and not very many) of the pork. I ate the eggs and a little fried rice. Definitely... More

Amazing local plate lunches (meat entree, 2 scoops of rice, macaroni salad). The boneless kalbi and Pulehu short ribs mix-plate gets my vote. Caught a glimpse of the pancakes--'huge' would not come close to describe them.

If you like the down home cooking of an old fashioned dinner, this is your place. Hawaiian size portions, the pancakes were the size of a small pizza enough for 2 or 3 people. When you get there be sure to sign in as there can sometimes be a long wait. But it is worth it.

What a great breakfast any day of the week. Got off the big resort and were just driving around looking for breakfast. Headed toward Waimea and saw the line of local folks standing outside. Had to stop! Well worth the wait. Very large portions and very delicious.

Cheap, low quality food. Just lots of it. There are better choices that won't make you hate yourself.

This quaint out-of-the-way diner in Waimea has quite frankly the cutest place I have eaten. Character pours out of the every booth. The wait is worth it. We were there on a Tuesday morning and waited 20 mins for a table. I was certain most of the patrons were locals too. Upon being seated the super small booth (I'd like... More

We saw the crowds eating at this little diner and gave it s try. Wow - the biggest pancakes I have ever seen! My husband tried the local favorite, a meat combination omelette that included Portugese sausage with everything loaded. He lived the hash browns. I enjoyed the vegge burger!

Got there well before lunch but still had to wait through the brunch CROWD, which was after the breakfast CROWD. It is a diner/cafe sort of place, but it is outstanding in the size of meal for the money. A goodly line of young Marines had no problem waiting for a table to fit them. Young fellas eyes got real...
