Unbelievable amounts of food!

My husband ordered the Kulua Hash and enjoyed it, although it was more than he could eat. It had pork and rice and potatoes, as well as eggs. We saw the pancakes and couldn't believe the size of them. I had something much smaller, a salad and sandwich, but it was good. And then they gave us... read more

It has been several years since we last ate at this local Cafe. The only thing that has changed is the line up waiting to get in is longer than I remember. On a positive note the staff was getting the patrons in faster My wife, adult daughter and I were seated within 15 minutes at the counter at our... More

This restaurant is a favorite of local Waimea residents. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. We had the Portuguese and Ham combo Omelet, the Hawaiian Sweet Bread French Toast and the Banana and Macadamia Nut Pancake. We knew that we would not be able to finish all of it, but it sounded so good, that we... More

We drove the 45 miles from Kona after someone suggested we try it. Was well worth the drive. We got here about lunch time and this will be our big meal for the day. Look at the amount of food and the size of the coconut pudding pancakes. YUMMY

Ate here twice in a week. Four meals ordered, four meals loved. The poke was tops and the banana pancakes were close behind. Worth the stop on the way up to Honokaa or Waipio Valley.

This place will be the best breakfast you've ever had - Hawaii or otherwise. The quality of the food is amazing and they have atmosphere to match it. Be prepared to wait a little bit - this place isn't overcrowded, just crowded enough so that you know it's a dime!

You need to go at least once! We have been several times on different trips and usually drive 30 to 40 miles just for breakfast. Many times we are going to the Parker Ranch, but this is an experience. Nothing fancy, just inexpensive and plentiful. Pancakes are the size of hubcaps and come instead of toast. The quality is average,... More

We heard about this place from the Ice Shaving Truck on 270 (20 mts from Marriott Waikoloa). the ice shaving truck itself was a great experience, as they offer great flavors and huge servings. Loved Kona coffee ice cream and mango flavor on my shave ice cream. The Hawaiian grill has a huge menu, the pan cakes are soft and... More

Ok, so it could be cleaner (although it looks like it has been updated since last year?) We have gone 4 or 5 times. And it is just good food. The coconut pudding pancakes, the pork hash and an order (large order) of bacon is just....good! And you can't help but wonder if you sat down with the guy who... More

We were driving around the island and started our day by having breakfast at the cafe. You can always tell if a place is going to be good based on the lineup to get a table. The food was great and the coconut pancakes were very good and filling. A lady sitting beside us mentioned that all the left overs... More
