This is a local place with amazing food. In fact you get way too much food. The banana macadamia pancakes are to die for. I had 2 huge plates full of food for $10.99 This is a definite will do again!!!

After a beautiful drive up to Waimea from South Kona this was a wonderful place to stop for some bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. Not to mention 2 giant pancakes. There was no way my wife and I were finishing our breakfasts this morning. I think the cook just grabbed a fistful of bacon and threw it in the fryer or... More

We got the chicken loco moco and I have never seen so much food, until the lady at the table next to us got their coconut mac pancakes. They were huge, about the size of a medium pizza. I had order envy :).

You'll find the portions of food served here mountainous! Best breakfast/ brunch spot on the island! Well worth the drive from Waikoloa or beyond. They serve breakfast late, so don't get up too early. Most every breakfast comes with 2 plate size pancakes that are to die for. Orders include mounds of bacon, piles of hash browns and same gigantic... More

Huge pancakes that would take at least four adults to devour. The Haupia pancakes are light, fluffy and sweet like Haupia. You definitely get your money's worth. Go HUNGRY!

Do not go if you aren't hungry. The food is amazing total comfort food Hawaiian style with Hawaiian size portions so you will need to get a to-go box. It's hard to tell how many slices of bacon you get because they are served by the handful and the pancakes require their own platter (not plate)! A very mixed menu... More

We went on recommendation of or tour guide. It was easily 3x the food we could eat, 1/3 the price of resort food and at least double the taste and quality. Home cooking away from home. Cash only, but they have an ATM if you forget.

Found this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews and so happy that we did. My husband is a pancake lover and at the age of 41, he determined these to be the best he has had in his entire life. I had to agree, and they are the size of a tire! The Loco Moco is also delicious. Come hungry!

A local resident told us to go to the Hawaiian Style Cafe, which was a fun experience. We sat at the counter, visited with some locals at the counter, and had the biggest and very delicious pancakes ever. This is not a resort type experience, so if you want some local style eating, try this place out. Sitting at the... More
