We ordered pancakes and an omelet with the intention of sharing. There were two pancakes the size of a dinner plate; thick and fluffy. The omelet was a dinner by itself. Even with sharing we could not finish!!

we had eaten here several years ago and it was a good local eating experience . this time it didn't work out so well . first off we were offered seating at the counter which didn't appeal to us . we opted to wait outside for a table or booth . after about a 20 minute wait we were called... More

When in Hawaii, eat like the Hawaiians. And this is the place to do it. You will not leave hungry. The best and biggest pancakes. If you go on Friday, you have to try the Loco Moco. It has everything on that plate. They even make Spam taste good. You can't beat the price either. I can't wait to go... More

We knew it had a reputation for authentic Local Cuisine but couldn't believe the serving sizes. We thought this must be what the Local Cowboys (Paniolo) have for breakfast. The Loco Moco I was served was enough for 3 or 4 Haoles like us. It was also quite delicious. The walls are decorated with photos of personalities who have visited... More

Bring your appetite! Best breakfast we had on our trip. If your trying to stick to a gluten free low carb diet and only want a cup of yogurt for breakfast .. Go home . Portions here are huge! If you could finish two pancakes from here in one sitting you should have your own Holiday named after you. Ate... More

You know it's good if the locals go...and it was! People there are so nice. I had just one pancake. One. And I could not finish it, but I did finish my side of spam :) My husband got the pork hash and loved it. They were one a wait when we went, got there about 9 am, but only... More

The only negative thing is that the place is so popular there's always a wait if you don't go early. :-) The food and portions are exceptional. Be ready to stuff yourself if you get the side order of pancakes for breakfast because it it HUGE! Enough for at least two people and it comes with a meal. Awesome place... More

Imagine a platter of rice, cutlets, eggs and gravy...or sausage and biscuits, or, better yet, banana macadamia nut pancakes. All enormous portions, SO tasty, the BEST service. Worth ANY wait!!

This is Man vs Food sized pancakes! Go for the great food, lots of it, and reasonable prices for the mainland. Unheard of low prices for Hawaii! Its not exactly a large place, and it looks like a diner on the inside. But its all about the food. Just remember. Come hungry and get the pancakes!

Friends raved about this place, but it was average. Maybe because it's the 2nd location, not the original location up in Waimea (which is the most beautiful place on the island!).
