Amazing portions at a decent price.

My brother and his wife bought us here for lunch as they live in Waikoloa and had visited before. The portions are huge and the food is well cooked. Make sure you are hungry when you visit! Definitely worth a visit when in Waimea!

If your hungry you won't be after you eat here. I really enjoyed friendly staff and service. Building is a bit rugged but staff and food are 100%. I had the Portuguese omelet a bit different with gravy on it but I enjoyed it. There pancakes are excellent and plate full size, you won't leave wanting

Our hotel recommend this for breakfast so the next day, we went there. At 10 am, there was a 10 min wait and once we entered, we were seated, at what could be called, the counter. It was ok. The big thing there is the humongous pancakes, which are served, 3 at a time, but you can request 1. If... More

.....it was a Saturday...late morning...hubby & I waited an hour for a table...shared a plate lunch of Korean chicken & kalbi..came with mac salad & rice...BIG portions...YUM..there's a split plate charge of $3.95 so I ordered one pancake for less than the split cost...it was HUGE...tastes good. Old style Hawaiian restaurant...good prices for the amount of food you get. Servers... More

Our group of 7 stopped here for breakfast on a weekday. It was very busy, but we didn't have to wait long. Service was great. Luckily, we saw the gigantic pancakes on other tables, so knew we didn't need to order too many. We had a variety of menu selections and found everything to be tasty and fresh. Prices were... More

The Husband and I honeymooned in Hawaii in May 2014. We stayed on Oahu but then hopped over to Big Island for a day and a night. Last meal on Big Island was at Hawaiian Style Cafe. A fraction of the price of Hilo Bay Cafe and a bazillion times better. And way more food. Go!

I eat at Hawaiian Style Café often -- at least once a week. It's the kind of restaurant that can be found in every little town where people gather for food and conversation. Details are below but in summary, Hawaiian Style Café is a great place to eat "Hawaiian-style" foods and mingle with island locals. 1. Serves breakfast and lunch... More

I totally disagree with the last rating. Although the line was long on Feb.14th it was well worth the wait. I found out from the locals on line that today was especially crowded because of Valentines Day and the fact that it was a very windy day and the tourists were doing other activities other than the beach ! The... More

We waited more than an hour to get in. Prices are good and the portions were large. But, that's about it. This was certainly not worth the wait.

BIG servings... be prepared to share or take home extras. Great food, Great price. We stated at a fancy resort and didn't want to pay for the $30/person breakfast buffet, so we drove up the mountain every other morning for breakfast. Love the atmosphere and enjoyed visiting with locals. We've been making moco loco at home every saturday since we... More
