Glad I tried a Hawaiian breakfast and sampled off my family's plates or I would have never known I liked (embarrassed to admit this) fried spam and Portuguese sausage. These are plates of hash or rice smothered in gravy and one of the above two meats. I wouldn't make a special drive here, but if you're in the vicinity and... More

The title really says it all. The portions are huge, the food is to die for, and the service is great. A true locals hang out. I make the drive up to Waimea at least 2 or 3 times each time I visit the island JUST to go here. Ssssoooooo good.

The place isn't much to look at but you will forget that when you see and taste your food. The service is good and quick once you make up your mind on what you want to order (a lot on the menu). My wife and I shared an omelette and macadamia nut pancakes, they didn't charge us extra to split the... More

We asked locals where to go on the big island and they all said HSC. They were right. Went on our last day and it was great. Menu is extensive. I had the korean pork. It was amazing. Service was great. Had three people make sure we had what we needed. Overall great lunch.

food was good, prices reasonable, there is enough food for at least 2 very hungry people with one order! the pancakes are the size of large dinner plates and 3/4 inch thick!

If you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch in a casual setting then this is the place! You can find mainland mainstream food items or those with a Hawaiian twist or a traditional Hawaiian plate. I rarely eat lunch when I have Hawaiian Style for breakfast! Remember, it's cash only. Ya gotta try this place at least once... More

The food arrives diner style––quick, hot and abundant. It's a local favorite, so be prepared to wait for a seat. The pancakes are larger than the plate and the bacon comes in a ball-shape and super crispy (how do they do that?) Don't forget the guava juice to accompany this Hawaiian style feast! Cash only!

Come to this restaurant with a large appetite unless you want to take a lot home. My husband and I shared the pancake egg and bacon breakfast. The pancakes are about 12 inches in size and you get two with breakfast. Needless to say we only could eat one. All other meals looked very large too. Bring cash as it... More
