this is a cute little place! the beers are tasty, i tried the paniolo pale ale and the pau hana pale ale, both of which were very good. we just got pupus to eat, but they were good, too. prices were totally reasonable, which can be difficult to find on the island. i'd definitely go back!

Family of four stopped here for dinner, and it was crowded so my tweens got to sit at their own table while my husband and I sat next to them at another. Our waitress was great, as was the food and beer. The vegetarian options here are what made me excited to come - I had the best chimychaunga with... More

We visited Big Island Brewhaus Jan. of 2015. The microbrew selection is great with a wide range of beer to satisfy just about any beer person. Lunch was tasty and filling. My wife and I split a chimichanga (with fresh fish, rice, and beans). Service was quick and everyone was nothing but nice. Their dining room/bar is small, but they... More

Chicken tasted like old turkey. It was gross. They do however have a variety of beers and you can get 5 4 oz beers to sample. The service was good.

Great selection of micro brews. Try the beer sampler. The fish bites were very tasty with the burritos and tacos also very good.

If bland is your flavor go here. Beer is marginal but food has been reduced to inedible. More burgers and fries than Mexican. Only hot sauce to add to the bland salsa is Sri racha. Used to have 3 levels of spicy salsas, now only chopped tomato with cilantro, no options and what used to be free costs $3.50. In... More

This place is about the beer. The food seems to have been conceived as something to go along with the beer. It does not hit any solid notes. I've been three times, and that was enough. It is a case of looking for a good bite and giving up. As a general piece of context about how I like Mexican... More

Wanting to try the "other" brewery on the island for quite sometime, we drove up to check it out after a weekend in Waikoloa. The restaurant was very east to find on the main road and the signage was seen easily from a distance. Parked right out front and walked in on a Monday afternoon around 3:00pm. Place was pretty... What a great place! Fantastic assortment of finely crafted beers and surprisingly good food at a very reasonable price. Service was great, fast and attentive. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

THe beer is awesome, and locally crafted by a talented group of brewers. The service in the past has been terrible but is steadily improving. THe menu has been revamped and now is decent for pupu style appetizers and bar food. THe burritos are good, and the fish is ALWAYS fresh due to the local fisherman that drinks there daily.
