The food at Charley's was fresh but somewhat flavorless. It was well-presented and the service was terrific, but the food was bland.

We have eaten there twice this trip and the food was great both times. The service was also outstanding. It is one of our favorite restaurants.

I couldn't eat much of either dish that was served. I usually can't stop eating good Thai food. After two bites I couldn't eat any more. I tried a few more bites, but I found the flavors to be poorly executed and the vegetables looked like they weren't fresh. I feel bad for the owners as they have a poor... More

I happen to live in the same town and have been eating here for years. As a matter of fact my family has take out every week. The food is excellent. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend eating here. They are located in the KTA Shopping Center. I am sure you will like the food. It is a... More

We would have missed this restaurant if we weren't looking on the mall's directory for eating options. It is tucked away from the main center walkway near the shuttle stop. We were glad we stopped in for lunch. The lunch menu is very reasonable. We both ordered the Pad Thai with spring rolls, medium spicy. This place was a welcomed... More

Our whole family enjoyed and ate everything off their plates. We all tried something different and shared. This made for a taste estravaganza, however leaving just enough room for the fried banana with Carmel Ginger ice cream Hum Hum Hum.

We are stying in Wimea, Hawai'i, for a few days and having eaten at PAU, one of the Lonely Planets "Picks", we decided to try another of the guide's picks - Charley's Thai Cuisine in the shopping centre opposite Foodland. The value was excellent and our meal lived up to the guide's high recommendation. Our waitress, Anna, was the most... More

We called in a to go order of papaya salad (mild for our daughter) and vegetarian pad thai (medium for us.) The food was very bland. Our pad thai had no spice and the tofu that was in it looked and tasted disgusting. Most thai restaurants we have been to here on the island at least fry up the tofu,... More

We are blessed in the Seattle with dozens of excellent Thai restaurants, six within two miles of where I live. Charley's Thai Cuisine location in the Queens Marketplace in Waikoloa wouldn't survive in Seattle because the Thai recipies they use (if any) result in poor quality results. I say that because we've ordered Chicken Pad Thai, a very common menu... More

I enjoy Thai food and have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the world (US, Germany, Taiwan, etc) and have rarely been disappointed. My winning streak came to an end at this restaurant. I had their Tom Yum Gorang soup which was spicy but watery. I tried a dish called Spicy Calamari which consisted of a watery gruel with what... More
