If you are paying only $10 for a seafood dish, there is a reason why? Deep fried frozen food, the worse quality you can find. Cheap local fast food, invest a little in your well being and go to Red Water Cafe, or Luna's, or better yet Fish and Hog! Worse of all, they are the Royalty of Styro Foam,... More

Good plate lunch. The local kids were there after high school which was entertaining. They also offer chinese food and japanese food at this Kauai L & L. Lots of food for a good price. Chicken cooked in the Hawaiian manner, lots of fat attached to it.

Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place will cook it up to you fast and for a good price. Breakfast croissant sandwiches are tasty. The bbq chicken and katsu chicken are awesome, and the teriyaki beef is also awesome. Never had a bad meal here, and I go 2 - 3 times a week.

Barbecue in my family is pulled pork (dry or with sauce) on a bun with (or without) cole slaw. When we stepped inside L&L, I was surprised to find that Hawaiian BBQ is actually more like a fast food Chinese restaurant. Despite our initial surprise, we did eat there. Nothing to rave about. I had the mahi mahi mini plate... More

We stopped here, confusing this place for another in Waimea, and it was okay, but not much more than that. The person behind the counter seemed as if customers were an inconvenience, but the food was fine. It also annoys me, in this century, when a fast food location charges for refills of soda. I'd go here again, in a... More

Thought we'd try one of the local dishes which was the Loco Moco, and the wife had the Mahi Mahi fish and chips. Both were good and appropriately priced. Good place to eat.

Your meal requests are all made to order, none of the dried up buffets like some others, the best chicken katsu! Oxtail soup! Roasted garlic pork/shrimp/fish, their saimin is SOoo tasty! Great broth! Try it, the only one - L&L BBQ in Waimea - forget the others. Penny Vredenburg - Waimea

I had the Ahi garlic plate which was very good and my wife had the lau lau plate. Quick service, decent price. L & L is reliable wherever we go.

Looks like this is where real Hawaiians eat. Got a strange combo of Spam, sausage, rice, eggs and really bad coffee for breakfast. Ordered the eggs scrambled and got sunny side up... no pilikia or something like that. Cheaper than the local diner in Minnesota, but an order at the counter deal - sort of a local McDonalds chain. Tasted... More

After eating Chicken in a Barrel, we thought another BBQ place might be good. This was really more asian than BBQ. Food was just fair. Not worth the stop in my opinion.
