I forget the name of it,but was very tasty. Overlooks an ancient heiau way off to south next to Spencer St Park, and some storage area across street. Mentioned to waitress Nani I was driving over to Hilo,on other side of Big Island. Thankfully, she mentioned the news said there was an accident on the one road there, so took different... More

Our concierge at the Kings Island Hilton said this was his Dad's favorite place. When we walked in we were greeted like a Family member. It seemed everyone knew everyone else. On Tuesday (which is when we went) Prime Rib was the steak special. It was very good. We started with happy hour Mai Tai's at $5. Followed by Shrimp... More

Friends told us we had to stop here for happy hour after a day trip to Hawi because it is on the harbor. Yes, it is near the water but it all industrial down there and you look at 2 big white tanks from any table. It is a very nice bar inside. Service was friendly and attentive and they... More

We loved it here. Sort of a retro older place with delicious food. Very close to our resort in hapuna. The manager continually checks on the customers and wants to make sure we are happy. My husband ordered steamed mahi mahi on a banana lead with coriander and scallion dressing. He loved it. I order a delicious delmonico since I... More

Happened upon it by accident while looking for another restaurant that no longer exists. So glad we did. Surprisingly large menu with lots of tasty options. Great mai tais, too. Clearly a place where locals hang out for good food and atmosphere. Happy to join them.

We were looking for something low-key and Seafood Bar is great! Nice bar, good selection, great prices, more of a local feel than at the resorts. Fun decor with tikis and aloha prints. Had the seared poke - delish!

I rarely have a meal that "exceeds expectations" but this little restaurant deserves an excellent review. An interesting menu - fresh veggies and "right off the boat" seafood - superb service - and REALLY good cocktails make it a must go on the Island of Hawaii. Our waitress "Aloha" was super! And as reviewer "Marigold 31" said "not the best... More

This place is a little out of the way on the big island but worth the trip. we had fish tacos it was spectacular a little pricey for a hole in the way but extremely good food. if you on a charter you might possible go out of here.

Travel author Rick Steves often tells people to get out away from the hotels and dine like a local. Seafood Bar & Grill is one of those places that Rick would enjoy. First off, the TripAdvisor location is shows Waimea and that's not the case. Hawaii address can be a bit weird due to postal limitations, and the actual address... More

We ate here twice and both times the food was super. Amy our waitress was wonderful. Not the best view ever but if your looking for a great meal to fill you up this is a stop you need to make.
