Stopped in just by chance driving around the big island, on our way to Volcano National Park. Pleasantly surprised by the great coffee and breakfast. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush any way.

We stopped in at the Waimea Coffee Company hoping for a quick lunch. We stood in a long line to order food and drinks, then waited 25 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. Meanwhile our hot drinks were getting cold and the cold drinks were getting warm. In the end the food was good, but not... More

The atmosphere could not be better. A u-shaped building off the street with a good mix of businesses. Peaceful. Have enjoyed coming here over the years, be it with younger children or as lone adults. Friendly, accommodating yet laid-back staff. The coffee quality and brewing are perfect. The coffee is a treat alone.

The cafe was in a lovely and authentic "cowboy" town and plaza. The coffee and tea was delicious (although pricier than other cafes). I would strongly recommend their coconut macaroons, which tasted like heaved! All their treats were incredible. The atmosphere was homey, with tones of outdoor seating.

I much prefer an independent, locally run coffee shop, rather than the big names. This place had a great vibe and great coffee and food!

People who know how to make serious coffee are rare in the US, outside the obvious capital cities. WCC are the real deal - what a relief in an ocean of undrinkable beverages. Good food too, plus friendly service and a verandah to enjoy the local scene, while the guy at the next table strums a ukelele.

We stopped here for breakfast and we were glad to see that they offered more than just coffee on their menu. We got a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast burrito. The food took quite a while to be served and was more than average in price however, the food was really good. The inside is a little hot as it... More

For all you coffee lovers out there, this tiny mom and pop shop, with pricey coffee, and pricier pastries is definitely worth the drive and the long wait in line.

Waimea Coffee Company has great food, even better coffee, and is an excellent place to read or chat with a friend. In a small town like Kamuela, it's a gem.
