We made a special effort to drive from Kona to Waimea primarily to eat lunch at the Lilikoi Cafe which had been very highly rated by the tour books (especially Fodor's). We were surprised to find a small cafe in a shopping center. It lacked the nice ambiance that we expected. We placed our order at the counter and helped... More

A very unique experience of foods from breakfast crepes, juice drinks, chicken curry salad, meatloaf and lasagna to amazing desserts. That is just to name a few items I love on the menu. Affordable and for a quick bite everything here is amazing. Great deli salads you can easily take to go. Staff is super friendly too.

Want lots of veggies, great sauces, amazing desserts and good coffee? This is the place. Eat in or take out. Price for lunch averages from $10-$15 but worth it. I usually get the choice of 3 salads (big meal) or the veggie sandwich- warm eggplant in yummy sauce on bread of your choice with a side salad. Sometimes I just... More

Well, it was okay. It was reasonably easy to find. The price was fair for the meal, and we were there for breakfast. Were we overwhelmed? No. If it was not written up in the Fodor Big Island book, it is likely we would have overlooked it, and not felt like we missed anything. The staff were very friendly. The... More

We thought this was a nice stopping point for lunch. You need to drive around the back of the Parker Ranch mall: it's between several empty shops. The signage menu board is large, it takes time to study the options. You order at the counter and they bring your selection to your table. There was some confusion differentiating between a... More

What a great find! We drove from Kona to Hilo a little over a week ago and were starving by the time we arrived in Waimea/Kamuela. This is hidden on the backside of Parker Ranch Center, so you have to search for it, but it is definitely worthwhile. Lots of fresh sandwiches, great deli salads, delicious desserts -- all homemade... More

Homemade food made from scratch and created from fresh produce; this is what I remember from my healthy lunch experience at Lilikoi cafe. Their green salads are mouth watering. They have original deli options, such stuffed avocado with tuna pine nuts salad, or pesto chicken pasta. Delicious!!

Really enjoyed the crepes - fresh, hot, tasty, good balance of flavors. The lilikoi cheescake was interesting. Friendly. Prices were a bit high for a cafe, but everything looked very fresh.

I ordered an orange juice, and then watched as whole oranges were fed to the machine a voile' my Juice. Can't get fresher! Thanks :-)

One of the best places in this lovely town to eat...I'm not a health nut per se but I could eat their salads and sandwiches several times a week without getting tired just because it's good...and I'd be healthier for it! This would be my first and last stop when I'm in town. It's maybe a bit on the expensive... More
