The menu is a bit expensive, but the food was very good. Typical service that is on island time, which was no problem. Nice seating area outside in the shade.

We enjoyed a family dinner out at the Holuakoa Café in August 2014. This was my second visit for dinner. This is a location not to be missed. The atmosphere is incredibly charming - open air, Asian influence - just gorgeous, and the food matches the atmosphere. Don't miss the homemade bread, wonderful pasta, and fabulous desserts. The wine list... More

They gave us $ back for my meal, which was terrible. My husband's and son's meals were slightly better, but all in all, I would not recommend anything about the restaurant except the atmosphere. The food was really substandard and pricey.

Wow! I had my wedding reception here. I had a custom menu made and Duane made a point to have several conversations with me to make sure I was happy with everything. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, the decor perfect, and the service left nothing to be desired. I cannot rave enough about this place! The hubby and I will... More

We had lunch here twice. It is beautiful setting. The service is terrific and the food was wonderful across the board both times we ate there. Absolutely will go out of my way to eat here again.

Wherever you are on the island, the drive is totally worth it. The food is fresh, innovative and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. A covered garden with a lovely koi pond. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

It was a scene out of a Hollywood film. Dining outside under the strung white lights in the evening warmth of the big island. All local food, great pairing of flavours and wines. Service was not overbearing. Cannot wait to go back.

We had been meaning to get to this restaurant for a while and finally made it. The food was very good. The Pepper soup was delicious. My pork was locally raised and done perfectly. My wife's steak was sooo tender. And the cheesecake for dessert was as good as you will ever have. Service was great and the atmosphere is... More

In the coffee belt overlooking Kona sits a true gem. The cafe is discreetly hidden and houses a natural beauty. An outdoor venue protected by high roofs and bordering a koi pond, the small and charming eatery serves extraordinary food and A List service. The restaurant is best experienced through its back entrance. We followed our GPS and started to... More

Lots of choices for veggie eaters, too. We had a small reception and they handled the 24 of us quite we'll. totally worth the short drive up to Holualoa and enjoy all the local... More
