A great plate of 'local' with a view of the palms along the bay shore

This is not a fancy-shmancy restaurant. Very small seating area. But the food was wonderful, fresh, and local. The people there never let our glasses of ice water get less than half full. This is not a fancy-shmancy restaurant. Very small seating area. But the food was wonderful, fresh, and local. The people there never let our glasses of ice water get less than half full. We had the ahi don plates, which came with an enormous and wonderful green salad, which was really refreshing change from the protein-and-starch formula.

The restaurant is tiny, first time the place around it was full so came back an hour later and got a table. The serving size is large so we split a plate of tempura shrimp, rice and salad.

Ouch! We wrote about this place 3 years ago and loved it. This time around, I cannot recommend it at all. (I think I heard they have new owners.) First off, the server gal says "okay, here is the menu, but add $1 for anything with fish". Weird, but I can understand it. Next, the garlic rice--their signature--is now no... More

Garlic fried rice, tahini, amazing Bento boxes with Ahi and chicken and tofu for just $6 bucks. Also try the curries. It is located in old town.

Kind of looks dived but has great food. Lots of locals eating here. Great views for people watching while you eat near the downtown.

We tried this place based on the reviews and we were very pleased. We also bought a bento box one morning and it was very cheap.

Food wasn't great, nor terrible. Overall we were happy with our meal and serving size, and for the price, we left satisfied.

I order the seafood combination plate. The food is tasty and fresh. I give it 4 stars because the seafood was deep fried and I feel it not quite healthy. The deep fried seafood Was crispy but didn't show the seafood flavor at all. Waste seafood! The salad was fresh and garlic fried rice was tasty. The price is high... More

The place looks a bit worse for wear. But go in anyway. Very friendly and helpful. Food cooked to order. My wife had the fish salad. I had the sautéed lamb. Excellent but simply prepared and presented. No alcohol. But nice big glasses of tasty iced tea. The meal hit the spot. We would definitely go back. Again, don't let... More

Excellent lunch special that included some local fish. This is small (tiny) restaurant and it appearance it doesn't look a clean place (but I don't mean is not a clean place). I was the last customer (the only way I could find easily a table), but the wait was rewarded with the food.
