This is our very favourite place to eat in all of Hilo! The owners and staff are GREAT! They remember you and we quickly became regulars. They always remember our order. We get #14 Po Tai Nahm (sp) and those absolutely DELICIOUS SUMMER ROLLS. For those of you who do not know summer rolls are NOT FRIED! They are made... More

Good food with low prices and the service is great at this place. Check out the noodle house special with crispy noodles. You will have to ask how to find this place. Outside not fancy at all but food IS GOOD!

I love this restaurant, they have great food and really nice people working Their lunch plates are excellent and you can also take away Its off the route of the tourists so there is always place to sit down and relax It’s a perfect choice for a rainy day in HILO

HRNS is a bit hard to find since it's off the beaten path on the outskirts of Hilo town. They serve Vietnamese and Chinese foods that are, when at their best, divine. Using mostly local ingredients the kitchen turns out excellent Pho (my favorite is the Pho Ga, or Chicken Noodle Soup) and garlic spinach, among other specialities. The ambience... More

It is not easy to find this "locals favorite" Hilo institution, even after arriving at the correct address. We saw no sign, other than "open". It appears to be only a sidewalk take-out place, but there is also a spacious, air conditioned dining room inside. (Also easy to miss this.) We loved the warm, friendly and attentive staff. The menu,... More

Go for the Pho and the minced chicken with lettuce cups The price isnt the best but the service has always been good and the tastes authentic. They offer a hot bar togo outside and have inside table service that can easily get packed at lunch hour. You really cant go wrong with any choices here and the Rice plates... More

Great staff, good food and the prices are pretty good. You have the option of eating in the restaurant side, outside for a more informal setting or you can take your food to go. Food is awesome! Try the salt and pepper squid!

This is a restaurant with no name at the end of a non-descript mini-mall. The food is Chinese-Korean or something like that. Order your food at the window and they serve it at your picnic table. It's great.

This is a hole in the wall, undiscovered excellent restaurant. Every item we've had here is delicious. I recommend the lettuce cups and the salt and pepper pork.

I have eaten here many times and I have never, ever had a bad meal. Everything is delicious and the wait help are outstanding, always polite and helpful. It's my favorite eating place in Hilo--there's not sign outside, they don't need it. Everyone in Hilo goes there.
