I moved to Hilo two months ago and have been here four times and all four times the food was really good. The Bun Bo Hue was a little over the top as far as hot goes, but it is a spicy soup, however I do not like it so spicy, but it was excellent. Pho was great, and Bun... More

I haven't tried all of the dishes but go here once every other month. It's a 'mom and pop' type restaurant with a 'welcoming vibe' I find it hard to order other dishes as I like the spring rolls with noodles but the chicken Pha is great too. Service is fast. I think the prices are very reasonable. They also... More

The pho soup is super! Our Grandchildren love it and the spring rolls are also a favorite. There are many items on the menu that our good, but our family go to food on a rainy day or when you're not feeling well is the pho.

I really used to like them. Been there dozens of times in the past. Last time was six months ago after a bad meal. May be another six or more after this one. Kung Pao chicken was tasteless, honey chicken was old, reheated, badly breaded, and too vinegary. Brown rice was gummy, and cost was too high for the poor... More

Well it is hard to find, no sign outside. The tables were dirty- the food was tasteless and greasy. No fresh vegetables in the noodle dishes. Mostly canned veggies except for maybe the smallest of amount of carrots. The staff was abrupt- not rude - but like - "oh, are you here to eat" feeling. It is a very strange... More

The hardest part about eating here is finding it: there is no sign out front (it's in a small plaza with some Hawaii government office). They have a small sit-down area inside (with about 15 tables/booths) and a walk-up ordering area outside for to-go orders. I have very little experience with Vietnamese food, but quite a bit with Thai and... More

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The Lettuce Cups are a specialty. Pho is authentic and tasty.

We happened to come across this place during a quick stopover in Hilo. It was a bit hard to find, as it isn't well marked in a shopping center, but we figured it out. Most of us had the pho, but one ordered a chinese dish. Living in Asia, we think we are pretty well versed in Asian cuisine and... More

Recommended by friends, I had the opportunity to eat at this place while traveling to Hilo. This place was a bit hard to find at first but definitely worth the adventure. The price & service is great and the owner also came out to serve us as well. Come to find out this place doesn't use MSG! Lightbulb wide eyes,... More
