Cafe 100 is a local favorite, with delicious food, plenty of options, weekly specials, and top notch service. I wish it was open on Sunday though, or open later. But other then that, awesome!

Guess they are known for the local dish "Loco Moco" and they have a large variety of they including one made with grilled Ahi. Its a fast food place with outdoor sitting. If I am in the area, I would go there again

….without a visit to Cafe 100. The loco-moco is always on the list when we return to Hilo. Simple and fast, great for a quick lunch or filling snack.

As a local Hilo girl, I grew up eating at Café 100. It was our family "go to" when no one felt like cooking. Known for being the home of the "loco moco", they have an entire menu of variations on this local delicacy (in it's basic form, a loco moco is a hamburger patty over rice with egg and... More

Definitely a popular place for a reason. Drive in , fast customer service, and a variety on the menu. The only thing is that sadly I can't eat anything that has hamburger from there. Has a weird taste. But other than that a good drive in

Great carry out or eat there. Tripe stew on Wednesdays and oxtail on Thursdays. The window service is fast and good. Consistency.

Was ok, not good, not bad. Prices are really cheap. Very popular with the locals. Probably won't be my first choice if I'm looking for food in Hilo.

This local favorite has been around for years. It was formerly located closer to the ocean, but a tsunami level it in short order. The food is served in generous portions, easy parking and plenty of outside table space to sit and enjoy your meal. It has a very wide menu selection of local favorites. An establishment with solid values,... More

If you want to try and eat what the locals eat. Look no further. this is the place. Long lines but great food. Well worth the trip. The loco moco was the best around and the plate lunches were to die for.

We stopped here because all the guide books and locals recommended it. OMG it was so bad we couldn't eat more than a few bites, and even that made us sick for two days. My sons ordered burgers and I ordered a fresh fish plate lunch. Wish I had never stopped. Instead just a couple of blocks away is Hilo... More
