awesome prices best loco moco

Had to try the loco moco with spam for the first time on the island. It was very affordable at $4.25. Very busy so you know its quick island fast food.

Great place to feed a family of boys. Large portions and great prices. Food was of local variety and more traditional cheeseburgers and such. Counter service place, but service was very nice!!

Great food for a great price! We have been repeat customers a few times, and love the Loco Moco! We are told they are the birth place of this dish. For $7 you can have a double loco moco, and easily have enough food for two people. We will be back again!

When visiting the waterfalls, botanic garden and Volcano National park, plan to do a stop at Cafe 100 in Hilo. This is a very simple place that offers an amazing food - Moco Loco (rice, burger, egg) which is amazing, cheap and fast.

We visited Hilo on vacation. I always like to eat where the locals eat. Cafe 100 had some of the best unique local food. Fast and friendly service. We returned a few times during our stay in Hilo

Cafe 100 is a takeout or eat outside restaurant. Nothing fancy except that the food is excellent. One of the original places for the Loco Moco, it is served a variety of ways. This is excellent local fast food, with very good prices.

This is a very rustic, local cafe. Walk up, order, get your food, and sit at picnic tables outside. But it is Hawaii, so that is the norm. They have several (more than 20) different versions of the Loco Moco. We have eaten lunch there 2 times (the first time in 2009). It was good enough to go again. Prices... More

They say this is where Loco Moco was invented. They offer a dozen different kinds of loco mock. For the basic one, its only $3.50 and filling!! The patty is delicious, egg perfectly cooked, gravy not too overwhelming. Try the korean chicken plate-- its all wings and drumsticks over rice with a scoop of macaroni salad, but the sauce is... Stopped here while on a day visit to Hilo. Had the chicken with beef steak teriyaki. The beef was a little chewy for my taste. But all in all meal was a good value for a quick meal. Would I return, yes. I just would not order the beef.

Our entire family came here for lunch on our way to the Volcano. I argued for trying Hawaiian food, rather than eating fast food. My husband and I shared a Super Moco Loco, and my son had a Teriyaki Beef plate. It was around $23 for both and two sodas. My parents had hamburgers and french fries and sodas and... More
