Best Cesare Salad Ever!

Best cesear salad I ever had. The dressing was lemon garlicky with a touch of blue cheese, which seems to be an island thing. We also had the caprese mozzeralla salad which was delicious. For main course it was pizza. My only ask is it needed a little more meat, but overall very good. It was about... read more

Not a ton of choices in downtown Hilo for food so we ended up at Cafe Pesto and it was pretty good. Portions were of a good size. They were able to take a party of 8 fairly quickly. Service was a tad bit slow but it got the job done. Pizza was my choice for the evening and we... More

The crust is light but flavorful. I love veggies on pizza so I would recommend the local sweet onion, mushroom and artichoke hearts. Very satisfied and delicious.

We have eaten at this location and the one on the other side of the island. Their food is consistently fresh and our whole family enjoys their dining experience. I love the Ono salad. The prices are comparable to those in Hawaii.

My husband and I drove from Volcano Village to try this restaurant based on reviews... The accessip is easy, the service was really quite good, the food was tasty, but it was more than you should pay. I had a really good pasta and prawn dish... But it cost 30 dollars. At least it tasted good, which is more than... More

We went here after a long day of road tripping around the island. A cute quaint spot a little like old Havana feel. Food was overall pretty good, service was ok but we like it. Husband had a calzone and loved, looks like pizza is their specialty!

We enjoyed the daily fish special and the pizza, as well as several other dishes at the Kawaihae location. The watress was very accommodating to requests to vary the menu items and made suggestions to make our evening great. It was one of better restaurants we went to during our stay on the island. The pizza was much better than... More

Heard about this great place and decided to try their pizza. Looked pretty but unfortunately the bottom was burnt. However, the dessert was exceptional.

Better than average, but not by a lot. This is basically a burger, pizza, pasta, salad place with ample portions, fresh ingredients, and a nice high-ceilinged room. Popular and often crowded, It will more than satisfy hungry folk with relatively conventional tastes. One unusual feature is the lack of rest rooms: instead, you are directed to the public restrooms in... More

A small, but nicely finished restaurant in downtown Hilo, less than a block from the farmers market. Three of us each ordered different dishes and were all very pleased with the quality and generous serving size.
