Great Food with an Organic Flare :)

A nice place to stop for lunch or dinner. The menu was varied and the food was excellent and had a healthy organic flare to it. The prices were mid range. We had the pizza and it was delicious and I would strongly recommend trying one. The lemonade was great and it was refillable. Service was... read more

This used to be our favorite spot in Hilo. No longer. I can't explain it but the food has dropped a notch. Fish and chicken were dry. The food was under seasoned. Pricey too for Hilo and the value quotient just changed for us on this trip. Even went 2x to see if the first time was an anomaly, but... More

Except for daily specials, the menu has been consistently good for years at this popular restaurant downtown. While a lot of other restaurants nearby may be empty, Cafe pesto is always bustling. Dad had the seafood risotto, mom had a Lokelani pizza (spinach, ham, tomato with a cream based sauce) and I had the BLT pizza (prosciutto is used as... More

Never been disappointed with any thing I ordered here. Service is fast and very friendly, the food is wonderful, the chef must be constantly tasting the food, it is fresh and very imaginative. My husband and I reserve this place for our special occasions. Never a wait, always a good seat and friendly smile...Well done all. Never hesitate to recommend... More

My husband and I had been here before on our honeymoon trip so we knew we needed to make another stop when we were in Hilo. This is a nice restaurant in a little bit of a sketchy building. The food is great and service was great too. The pizzas are very filling so you probably will not need as... More

Stopped here with our family after exploring Volcano National Park. Great service, interesting menu, and nice sized portions. Excellent locally caught fish! Great place to stop if you are in Hilo.
