Had lunch here twice while in Hilo. Great food both times. Make sure you get the shrimp nachos appetizer. They are only on the dinner menu, but they will make them for lunch if you ask. They are delicious! more

This could be a very romantic meal. They had a singer after 6:00 for entertainment. The wood-fire pizzas was excellent. We split one pizza between us, otherwise the meal would have been very pricey for dinner. The pizza was plenty for two people. Dessert was also very good. more

We ate here Sept. 23 and had 2 great pizzas, Hawaiian and classic. Some of the best we have ever had and I think it had to do with the thin crust and fresh toppings. A little tricky to find as the sign is hidden by another sign, but worth the effort. more

Cafe Pesto is in downtown Hilo, and it's got a few things going for it right off the bat: it's air-conditioned and doesn't smell musty, unlike most restaurants in that area.
