We stopped in during holiday shopping for dinner. We were seated immediately, and our waiter took our drink order within minutes of siting. Then when it came time to order, the disappointments started. First, the just ran out if country fried steak. Hmm, must be previously frozen. Can't make more? Then we waited fir a half hour, for a 1/4... More

I hadn't been to this IHOP in years, and I was pleasantly surprised when we went there this weekend after shopping at Prince Kuhio Plaza. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, the place was bright and clean, the Hawaiian music playing in the background was "the bomb" (good!) Our very nice waiter took our order right away and... You tend to get exactly what you order here. Problem is that its pretty expensive for local fare ($14 for omelet) etc. We do go there occasionally because it is clean, convenient, well managed and food is consistent. Safe place for visitors with families who don't deal well with local fare. Has a good senior menu with smaller portions.

Okay, now I like to think just about anything is possible, BUT, IHOP running out of waffles...c'mon, really??? But true to fact, my family and I went for late lunch and my daughter ordered chicken and waffles, then the waitress comes back to say: "sorry, but we ran out of waffles"??? I asked is the waffle iron broken?? "Naw", she... More

iHop is always tasty and quick when you need to get in and out in a hurry. It can be a bit pricey but the service and menu help makes up for this. that coffee jug left to top up your cup when running low is always a hit as well.

I've always avoided IHOP like the plague. The 110 year old waitresses and the equally ancient décor. This one really surprised me (in a good way) Great food, great service, nice décor, and good prices.

If you're looking for a good restaurant in Hilo, be prepared to search for a while.... Besides Cafe Pesto and Hilo Burger joint, this is one of the nicest places to eat.

IHOP is IHOP but in Hawaii, they add local favorites to the menu, which is good. Some people won't touch Spam, but here, everyone serves it with breakfast. You can also get rice, another local staple. Works for me.

We had a bad experience at this IHOP on a Sunday evening. We thought the servers didn't even care for us being there. I love breakfast at IHOP, but this wasn't as good as other IHOPs that we visit. The place needs some managerial help.

Can't give an honest review of the food because the restaurant was so dirty I only had a glass of ice tea and even that was nasty. Will never set foot in this place again.
