Had some of the best poke on our trip here. Well worth it. I had the sesame poke and could not have been happier. We tried poke at a few other places but it was always a bit of a let down after Suisan. Make sure to get the seaweed flakes on your rice for a little extra saltiness/flavor. Their... More

Traveled with family visiting from the mainland and they craved their local food. I brought them here and was not disappointed. Loved their poke bowls. I had the "local" style with inamona which is roasted kukui nut. LOVED IT!. Too bad the take-put window was closed but, I think everybody wanted poke anyway so we were all happy.

Theres also a window for hot meals, burgers, loco moco, fish, etc, but go inside and get some poke, some of the best I've had. Also a good selection of fresh fish at reasonable (not cheap) prices.

We got there at noon time and missed the fish auction, which we heard happened in the morning. A nice place to get poke for quick eat or even a whole fresh Ahi at bargain price.

Didn't get to eat here. They were closed both times I went by. Check the hours before you stop by. But, beside that, the place came highly recommended by the locals. Not really a restaurant, but more like a deli/market where you can buy fresh seafood. Would have loved to give it a try.

We decided to check out the fish market and see what they were selling in there. We chose several selections of poke and other yummy foodies that we could take on the road and snack on while checking out all the cool places on the Island. This is definitely somewhere you need to stop at to pick up great raw... More

My expectations of Suisan before finally visiting was great, but it all changed. Let me start with the good things first. They have tons of choices! People line up early to get fresh poke! Yes, they do get fresh fish and seafood. Location is superb, right next to the pier! Parking may get challenging, so come early. Price is awesome!... More

The Spicy Ahi Poke was Delicious. Definitely better than the supermarkets version of it but I can't complain about either. Most of the people eating there are locals not tourists.

Poke plate is similar to sashimi-on-rice-bowl you get in Japan, except the Poke is marinated (sayou, wasabi, sesame, etc). I think it make a lot of sense to order the Poke on-the-side because putting cold Poke on top of hot rice makes both lukewarm quickly. I had Poke both here and in Ono Seafood in Oahu. I honest can't tell... More
