At Lucys we try to give you a great all around experience, as well as some good food. We use the freshest ingredient from right here in our backyards to the best of our abilities, supporting our local farmers, ranchers, and fellow business owners. We serve lunch, dinner, and breakfast all day. We have a full bar, as well as ten draft beers on tap. Come in a take a look, or eat, or drink, or eat and drink.... and join the party

Delicious Mexican food

We got a takeaway from here after coming back quite late from the Hawaii Volcanoes national park. The portions were huge and both the (very different) burritos we had were extremely tasty. Easy to recommend.

We were so happy our friends recommended Lucy's. The service was very friendly, and it was apparent the staff was happy to be at work. My husband and I were told that the Super Burrito was big enough to split, and we're so glad we heeded that advice! We were both stuffed for $5.50 each. Not bad! The fresh salsa... More

Very authentic Mexican food. Had the steaks tacos and they didn't disappoint. The Agua Fresca was also very tasty. If you are looking for you Mexican fix in Hilo, this place should be your number one pick.

The best carnitas burrito I've ever had! Make sure to get it "wet" & don't order rice & beans unless you plan on being so full you're miserable. My husband got the carne asada burrito & raved on it as well!!Prickly pear margaritas are bomb!! Friendly & attentive staff. If we lived there it would be our go to spot... More

We had lunch here after a morning of sightseeing. What a wonderful discovery! Efficient, busy and filled with locals. Friendly order at counter service followed by enough food to feed a small army, all of it excellent. We had enormous burritos filled with rice, beans and chicken, liberally doused in a delicious salsa. Shrimp fajita quesadillas a flavoursome winner and... More

Burritos as big as your head, great salsa, warm service and a funky atmosphere are all there. The variety of foods is wonderful and authentic. In an unassuming little strip mall in downtown Hilo, we were skeptical, but it was wonderful. Fresh preparation and a cute bar.

The Mexican food at Lucy's is way better than what is mostly offered on Maui. The portions are just right for the price. I had the pork tamale plate and they were delicious. My mom had the al pastor tacos and when I eventually make it back to Hilo, I am going to get those because they had a nice... More

What's not to love about this place? $22 for a burrito the size of a small child AND four cocktails? Yes, please! Great atmosphere, but this place can get busy. Closed on Tuesdays though! Large menu and its one of the few restaurants where I actually try different things. Awesome burritos, amazing chile rellenos. Be prepared to join a single... More

Driving through downtown Hilo, we happened on this rough gem. Cool vibs, great service and delicious food make this a must visit. The plates are huge and covered with burritos or fajitas and corn and rice and retired beans. Soft drink is available with free refills and there is a sweet kids play area.
