They have such a large assortment that they make. Many flavors that I've never even heard of before. Some were just ok but according to my husband some were great! It's all natural with no preservatives so they don't last long. We were also warned that you cannot refrigerate or freeze them so you need to be able to eat... More

I had never tried mochi before but came here based on TA reviews. What an experience! I got the strawberry mochi and was very impressed. The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. It came packaged in a very cute wrapper. They were out of the butter mochi but I will come back again to try some. Yum!!

I love mochi but I have never had it freshly made. This tiny little spot is definitely worth a visit!

Neither my husband or I had ever heard of Mochi before we came to Hilo. Now we're just trying to figure out where to get more since we returned home! Definitely stop by this quaint little sweet shop and try some Mochi for true Hawaiian flavor!

This place has been featured on tv multiple times and it truly is a wonderful place to get fresh mochi! There is usually a line out the door and people buy trays of the stuff. We love the fresh fruit mochis - strawberry, grape and whatever other offering they have. The thin layer of mochi surrounds a layer of red... More

We had a chance to stop here our first visit to the Big Island a few years ago and made it a point to get here again on this trip, we liked it so much. Though I'm no expert on mochi, I love the variety available, and their famous strawberry mochi is not to be missed! My other favorites are... More

When my girlfriend and I were in Hilo, everyone was telling us about this little place to get mochi. Neither by girlfriend or I had knew what this was, so we decided to give it a try. We were lucky to hit them at a time when they were open because the hours are kind of limited. We got a... More

This was phenomenal. My partner and I rushed to this place in the evening from the Kona side during our honeymoon and technically, they were closed. But because they were still packing up and the lights were on, they allowed us as an exception to purchase some of the mochi. The strawberry, grape, and butter mochi are by far the... More

This little place is a treasure. Their wide varietry of flavors means they have something for everyone. If you have a particular flavor you like, and want a whole box (20 pc.), order ahead. My wife ordered 2 boxes of Okinawan Sweet Poatao mochi to take in to work. Everyone loved them. They're closed on Sun and Mon, and it's... More

I think it's great Mocci .The hours and days open are irregular and when they are open they often have little to choose from.
