Excellent pastries and robust coffee

This place is small but the pastries range from sweet to savory and are truly handcrafted pieces of art. As for the coffee, it's not "fast food" coffee; she makes a lovely French press beverage for you. Little piece of heaven in my humble opinion.

If you want a world-class pastries, check out this place. The prices is on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. A few tables inside the shop where you can enjoy their pastries and a cup of coffee, which is also excellent. Our family favorite: rock bun (you can get sweet or savory), quiche, and for special... I was very pleasantly surprised by my recent stop into this small pastry shop. I picked up a chocolate croissant and a raspberry square and they were both delicious. The croissant was particularly good and had a large amount of chocolate (what could be better?) The selection at the shop isn't large but the other cakes looked amazing too. It's... More

What a little gem this is. Situated on a side street a couple blocks from the Farmer's Market, this cozy patisserie serves up some pastries and cakes that are as good as anything I've found in Paris. I had a cake with chocolate mousse and Bailey's Irish Cream mousse and it was delicious. Obviously fresh, there was a combination of... More

We had to check this place out because of all the praise here on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend the Frangipani Croissant. Sweet buttery heaven on a plate. We will be back for more!

....took a break from the Farmer'sMarket just a couple blocks away to check out this place after reading reviews on TA...it was a Wednesday morning just after they opened...so glad we went! The gals were busy as it was just a week before Christmas...a lot of take-out orders/called in & picked up...but they were so gracious & helpful as we... More

This little patisserie was a great find. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. We had a blueberry rock bun, chocolate croissant, veggie quiche and french press coffee. It was all fantastic. Everything looked so good, I had a hard time choosing what to get. We liked it so much we wanted to come back but our travels didn't... More

We came to Moonstruck Patisserie based on good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! I had the lilikoi (passion fruit) cheesecake and my husband had the caramel apple tart. Both were delicious! A very cute place to visit in Hilo with amazing sweet treats!
