Great local backery

This is a very special friendly place. The french pressed coffee tasted great along with some very tasty scones and croissants. Our surprise was how friendly everyone was. This is a spot the locals come for the morning treat and conversation.

One of my favorite coffee plus places in Hilo. Small seating area but most folks come to buy cakes and pastries to take home for special occasions. Very limited opening days as I think the owner/baker puts so many hours into doing it right that she gets tired!!! If it is open when you walk by, do go in

We observed a woman walking down the street carrying a cake box and surmised that there was a bakery nearby. Spot on! Just follow your nose to the small patisserie on Furneaux Lane; only a couple of tables but a busy clientele; we had French press coffee for two and two huge (really gigantic) rock buns. Open Wed-Sat; closed Sun-Tue.... More

I loved everything I bought there. To ensure I have a hit at every party, I bring one of their decadent cakes/tarts.

The Quiche and rock bun are as good as it gets. The ladies behind the counter have excellent customer focus. Also I recommend the french press coffee. This is an outstanding eatery!

This gem is a must go to in Hilo. People say Mochi or lows sweet bread but this place delivers the best pastries on the island. Scones best in the state hands down and croissants are fantastic. Deserts great too you leave not knowing if you missed something. Check this place out you won't be disappointed

This place is the best thing on the island as far as baked goods go. French trained chef yippee! Very nice staff too.
