Absolutely love this place. I'm so sad that I only discovered it on my last day in Hilo. Would have come here everyday if I found it earlier. Everything's great. I love the cheesecake and don't usually eat cheesecakes! Great little cafe to chill, great coffee, great cakes, great ambience, great service! Please open a branch in Singapore!

Had the caramel apple pie, one word- delicious! The ladies were super friendly and really everything they had looked good, tried to go back a second time, but unfortunately they were closed by the time we got to Hilo.

This is one of my favorite places to come to for great pastries and and a cup of coffee. We practically have a routine to come and grab a Rockbun or a piece of cake every Saturday morning. They also cater and Jackie made a lovely Almond Teres cake for our wedding and embellished it with local flowers and mini... More

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we stopped here as well. Be aware the store is not open mon-tuesday. We had 4 pastries and all were excellent. A must stop for those with a sweet tooth. Creative atmosphere in a small shop with 4 tables. Table tops each painted individually.

We stopped by based on reviews and we're glad we did. This is a wonderful little spot in downtown Hilo; a little bit of Paris in old Hawaii! We had a slice of the lilikoi cheesecake and it was out of this world (I usually don't care for commercially prepared cheesecake because it's often dry - not remotely an issue... More

We were visiting Hilo for the day. Walking around the older part of the town near the market, looking for some somewhere for a coffee and perhaps a cake, we stumbled upon Moonstruck. As soon as we walked in the door, it was clear that this was a fine patisserie. We were served two excellent cups of coffee and enjoyed... More

This is a lovely bakeshop in downtown Hilo that is a stone's throw from the farmers' market. The tiny store is full of beautifully made pastries that include savoury but are mostly sweet. The puff pastry for my quiche and croissant were both light and flaky. Everything is made in-house and the shop is warm and inviting, a perfect spot... More

Having lived in Europe for many years, I have been looking forward to visiting Moonstruck Patisserie for a while. Last time we visited Hilo in May it was closed due to a family emergency, so we thought we would check back again. The pastries were all very good with the big highlight being the pumpkin pie on top of a... More

We came here for my son's first birthday. We got him two slices of cake to try: a chocolate one and an almond one. Both were very good. We also ordered a quiche as well. My son loved the quiche. The service here is very good. They're very friendly. The decor is very cute as well. We would definitely come... More

Having lived in Europe the patries were very close in taste. Really great treat. The hours are not great if you are planning on visiting over a long weekend (closed Sun-Mon). Would visit again.
