The relatively new restaurant offers creative and delicious dishes. Charming atmosphere in downtown Hilo.
We stopped here for iced coffees in the middle of the afternoon, and the staff and patrons were very friendly at the bar. So, we returned in the evening for dinner and were happy to get well-prepared dinners that had flavor! I'd definitely go back here when in Hilo again.
Excellent food prepared by a chef that has some New York experience and it shows. It's not pretentious and they don't try to do too much unlike other restaurants billed as "top end" on the island. The barista Soni has experience from one if the top coffee shops in NY and makes some great espresso and cappuccino from a local... More
We found this wonderful restaurant by wandering off the main street and it was well worth it. Only been open a short time but the food that all four of us ordered for lunch was really good. I had some of the best ceviche I have had in a long time. This staff were very attentive and service was quick.
This is a "new" restaurant with new owners and a new menu. The menu is short, but the items are well prepared and very tasty. I had the fried rice, which was delicious and truly fried--not wet. The poisson cru, served with breadfruit chips, was outstanding. The service was equally good. I highly recommend Full Moon Cafe.

This is Hilo, not the Kohala coast, where I... More

Great place to get asian fusion food. Had the pad thai and curry. If you cannot handle spice, only order Mild. the waitress offers honest and great food recommendations. They offer separate checks!
This is a little casual restaurant located in Hilo. The food was very good and tasted like the real thai food. BUT the service is slow. We went there a monday night and it took almost one hour between the order time and the time we got our plates, even if there was many customers.
Located on a quiet side street in Hilo, this low-key restaurant served some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The summer rolls, house soup, and pad thai all had very fresh ingredients. The house soup had lots of different types of fresh seafood. I ordered it "Thai hot" and it was!!! I loved it. The food was... More
