Very good for dinner ( and lunch i guess). If you are by the window, you can feed the fishes as you are waiting :) there is singer almost everyday so the ambiance is sooo chillaxe. Very good and fresh food. Very nice restaurant; dont miss it

We happened to be there for "fiesta Monday." Our fish tostadas were fresh and delicious. I don't usually like fried food but this was very well done - delicate and flavorful. I would have cleaned my plate if I'd had enough room!

Here for lunch now and been waiting so long I have plenty of time to rate. Maybe a waitress with a smile might have helped but whole family sitting here suggesting we just leave! Food might be decent but not worth the wait!

Took a helicopter tour and another guest on tour was a local. He worked at and recommended Ponds Restaurant. I had the fish (local) and chips and it was awesome.

I knew the owners' of this place when it was Harrington's. My husband, a friend, and I stopped in for lunch awhile back in its new incarnation as Ponds. We all ordered the fish and chips. It was a TON of food. Way too much for us to eat. It didn't really bowl me over. Earlier this month I was... More

This restaurant is waterfront and has a nice diverse menu. It is moderately price and has good service. I just wished it had more seafood options, sinc that is what most of us come here for. Reserve aahead and ask for the corner window table overlooking the pond.

Nice dinner experience with friends. Ordered the Ribeye Steak and Salmon dinners. Our party shared the meal family style. Both dishes were tasty and enjoyable. The restaurant had that old style Hawaii atmosphere which reminded me of visiting Hilo with my parents in the 1970's. Reasonable prices near Banyan Drive.

Last year we ate here and the Dinner was great. We enjoyed it so much that we traveled back across the island to try again. A little disappointed with lunch. It was okay, but that's just it, okay is not what we wanted or expected. I would go back still, but for dinner. And I would still refer people to... More

Nice selection of seafood, salads, & steaks with local flair added. Not too expensive either. Plus, lots of seating beside coy pond - with turtles, so they were fun to watch, too.
