Sunday in Hilo this is pretty much your only choice for Breakfast

If you are traveling to Hilo on a Sunday, beware. Practically everything is closed. We scouted out Le Magic Pan for Breakfast as it was one of the only places open. Turned out that the food was very good but as the TripAdvisor reviews indicated, the service (while very pleasant) was very slow... read more

We had a late dinner at Le Magic Pan. The menu is full of crepes, and we all had them, both for dinner and dessert. In short, the food was terrific, delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The textures were just right, and the sauces were spot on. There is an ample wine list, and I was able to find a... More

We have gone here for several birthdays and anniversaries. They gave me a free dessert crepe for my last birthday. Everything is tasty that we have tried. Husband likes the one with the polish sausage. I love the Greek crepe. All the dessert crepes are so yummy. One time, there was a singer. It is such a charming little place... More

They have fantastic crepes! I've never had a bad one there, every kind is fabulous. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they have a few seats outside.

Found ourselves at Le Magic Pan again for a leisurely Father's Day breakfast. Fabulous choice. We got to watch the chef making the creations, as our table was right beside the cooking area. Orders take a while, so if you are in a hurry, this might not be your best choice. Try McD's. BUT if you want to explore the... More

As it happens, a crepe was the sort of light dish fancied for a late lunch. In the event, was seated quickly but the place was not busy. This made the service seem rather slow. Since, there was a vague, albeit faux, attempt at being French, one tried the French Onion soup, that initially tasted over-salty, but grew on me... More

Had a great dinner here on Sunday night, laid back place. I had the full crepe, my wife had the salad and half crepe, The salad and dressing were some of the nicest I have ever had. Good wine list, and a few bottled beers.

Arrived 10 minutes before opening. Was planing on waiting hostess told me to go somewhere else. I walked around and came back 15 minutes later. Hostess gave me a dirty look and told me the chef just left. The restaurant just opened and the chef has left? Told her we were'nt in a rush so she sat us. Had attitude... More

We attempted to time our walk so that we were on time for the restaurant to open for breakfast, but how dare we get too close 10 minutes before opening! My friends & I have all worked as waitresses, we know how annoying it is to start service ahead of schedule, so we weren't planning on interrupting the girl setting... More

After ordering a crepe and sundae, i wondered why it took so long. They were beautiful, that's why. Tasty and price was good too.
