The town of Hawi is a bit out of the way, since it's at the northern tip of the island, but this restaurant has outstanding food. Very creative and tasty receipes. The Kuala Pork Quesadilla was amazingly good and you could taste the special flavor of the Hawaiian-style pork; so good... It was pleasure to eat coconut prawns that was... More

This was probably the best burger I've ever had, cooked to perfection! And the shopping in the little store there, just fantastic. Well worth the trip. Then hit the beach on the way back to hotel...not a bad day at all, LOL!

Quaint, rustic, good food and no pretentiousness. Go and have a nice slow paced lunch and take the time to read the menu since there are little surprises awaiting. I always try and hit there for a meal. Gift shop within and in the block too. Recommended for a couple or your family.

We stopped off in Hawi on our drive down the west coast, and decided to eat lunch here. Lovely inside with fairy lights etc and the food was very good (my husband still speaks fondly of the shrimp!). A lot cheaper than we were used to at our resort!

We walked into this retired brothel to a gift shop on the right and a calamity of chairs to the left. The proverbial don't read a book by its cover is appropriate here. Let's start with drinks! The house margarita is delivered in a hollowed coconut shell no salt on the rim....delicious and potent! Menu- simple presentation, gluten free options... More

The hotel recommended this place and we were not disappointed. We ordered almost everything off the happy hour menu and then ordered seconds of a couple of things. My kids got the smoothies to start and they loved them. The price is definitely right for the food! We also loved the little shop that they had as well as the... More

Great lunch. The experience is always better when you have a good server - Thanks Glyn! My husband had the Big Bamboozer - the pork quesadilla and the shrimp were "very, very good" as was the Hawaiian stir-fry (Thai style) with the mahi-mahi. Highly recommended if you're on the Big Island and looking for a quality lunch.

A wonderful casual restaurant with the best pork on the big island! It is tucked in a quaint town which gives it a terrific ambiance.

We had lunch at this Restaurant. They have a GF menu. Their GF Thai Coconut prawns were awesome! The Kailua Pork dish is GF, most of their grilled dishes are GF, except the chicken (marinated in shuyu sauce). They have no GF dessert, but there is an ice cream shop right across the street, called the Tropical Dreams. So, for... More

This was the best Chinese restaurant on the Island. I would come here again. Nothing more needed to be said.

What??? We are NOT a Chinese restaurant. There is not even ONE Chinese dish on the menu. Old Jules here has us quite confused. For the record, folks, we serve Hawaiian Regional cuisine, (also known as Fusion or Pacific Rim) and we serve traditional Hawaiian dishes. Mahalo! More
