Visited Hawi two years ago after visiting the lookout and had an awful lunch experience. Bamboo was closed that day. This time Bamboo was open, and our party of four plus infant grandson all had a very good lunch experience. Adults started with very tasty Pina Coladas. I really enjoyed my shrimp quesadilla. My infant grandson ate all of his... More

We had a great dinner here. We loved, Kimmy and the staff. Super friendly and fun. Dinner was fantastic. Lillikoi beverages with and without alcohol are fantastic too. Buy a bottle for they potion maker. DInner was so good we returned two days later for breakfast. Their version of Eggs Benny - delicious. I was excited for the french toast... More

Our waitress told us a story about the food and original owners. Felt very at home here and highly recommend visiting the cute town of Hawi and having lunch here.

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with tips of what to see in the area. She even gave us driving directions, plus she took our picture.

Great food, good service, interesting menu. Just as most reviews say. Like most restaurants not in the "tourist" areas (South Kohala and Kona) the hours are not expansive. Reservations are helpful.

Visited Bamboo last night for dinner. We were greeted at the hostess station by a very friendly smiling lady who seated us promptly. The restaurant's atmosphere was very Hawaiian Island casual accented with local art work, wood slab table tops, and multicolored Christmas lights. Rick was our waiter and he was greeting us as we sat at our table. He... More

You have to try there speciality margaritas or mimosas. This was our second time back and there food is always worth the hour drive from our vacation club. My son had the french toast and we ended up fighting over the last few pieces it was so good!

All four of us loved what we ordered. The grass fed beef burger is outstanding. Friendly owners brilliantly offered a half pint (at the perfect time), great idea. We will eat here again next time we're in Hawi.

Our first Hawaiian lunch was at Bamboo. We were taken care of by multiple staff members all pleasant. The decor, Main Street location and gift and gallery were all pleasant and with good taste. Menu choices were good and we learned about Lilikoi (passion fruit) and purchased a bottle of the cocktail mix displayed on the table. Ohno was the... More

There are not so.many choices in Hawi. This is one if the best. Great, old restaurant with a soul. Attentivr service. Recommend the "big bamboozer" and the ribs.
