Just off the road on Mamalahoa Hwy, parking is almost always full, Excellent coffee, latte's, egg's benedict. The best hollandaise sauce ever. Great specials. Do not forget dessert. The lilikoi cheesecake is absolutely wonderful. Had breakfast there numerous times each visit to Kona. A must!

From the outside it truly looks like a shack, but the view from seating area is great and the food is amazing!

The view from the deck eating area was spectacular. Up on a ridge and you can see for a couple miles to the ocean. Everyone there had a great time spotting and photographing the cute little geccos scurrying around. Food was quite good, but service was a bit slow. Guess I am not used to island time. Probably my fault.... More

Amazing View, had great service. Try the Luau Bread, really good. All of our food was great too! We had a large party of 11 and only had to wait for them to put the tables together.

What the others said. Great view, if you can get a seat at the edge. Always packed. Coffee was good, food was OK. The servers have a tough job with the deluge of people but in our case they were always helpful. Parking was difficult, at times we had to do it illegally at the edge of the trafficky road.... More

Making the drive from Volcano to Kailua-Kona was a long one, but this wonderful restaurant was a great pitstop to revive our spirits! The views of the coast were spectacular. The restaurant is surrounded by coffee, avocado, and other fruit trees. The services was prompt and friendly. The bread and sandwiches were amazing (I definitely recommend the luau bread!), and... We stopped at this Coffee Shop for very little reason beyond the fact that every time we drove by the parking area was always full. Any place that has this much business must be good, and it was! The coffee is terrific and the food was a pleasant surprise. The view from the restaurant, we had a window seat, was... More

My husband and I go to the Big Island at least once a year...unfortunately I have stopped here twice. The first time was for a quick cup of coffee; they did not have any tables available so I just took my coffee to go. It was horrible and I tossed it out. This place is right along the highway and... We were heading to the south side of the island and I found this place on this site. It did not disappoint as the food and service were awesome. My wife had the papaya bowl breakfast and I had the wrap with eggs and spinach and cream cheese. We indulged in some sweets and the Mac nut bread and cinnamon... More
