Best fish and chips I've ever had, best service. Must go to! Always fresh and so sweet. When we went in the late afternoon there was only one other couple ! Totally a nice place to relax :)

My wife and I always like clean, well run small restaurants. And when they serve great food too, they are always a favorite of ours. We ate there twice and had something different every time. Very good simple bacon & eggs and fabulous pancakes with macadamia nuts and coconut sauce. Great sandwiches! Drive away from Kona to Captain Cook and... More

Just finished snorkeling in the bay and we hopped up to this pleasant cafe with delicious food. The hostess was very kind and helped us understand about a traditional Celebration of Life event that was taking place on the beach. We ordered the Hawaiian plate and a fish sandwich. Fresh and tasty. We got a dozen malasadas to go. We'll... More

Excellent food and service. We ate here twice during our trip. Breakfast: I had the pancakes with macadamia nuts and Hapia sauce. My wife had the stuffed French toast... Both excellent! Lunch trip: I had the fish and chips, she had avocado sandwich.

This cafe is nothing short of perfect! Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Family owned. They helped us locate places to buy souvenirs from actual locals/artisans...not imported from China. We ate here twice during our stay on the Big Island. Simply delicious food!

We had one of the best desserts ever here! They have a cheesecake with macadamia nuts and graham cracker crust that is to die for! The staff recommended the passion fruit flavored topping since her mother made it and I was in Nirvana!

We stopped in for a quick lunch as was on the side of the highway on our way back from the national park. Best coffee we had on the island from a local grower's cooperative. Our local grown salads were great and my husband's fresh caught Ono was delish. Also had the malasadas as they still had some left and... More

It has tasty food although it takes a while for the food to come out. Reasonable prices too. If you just want regular well prepared food, this is a safe bet.
