Lea was fantastic. My friends and I (group of 6) were craving some local fare for breakfast. She brought us complimentary doughnuts (malasadas) and they were delicious. Highly recommend them! The loco moco was great!!

A small but wonderful restaurant with amazing local breakfast options. This place uses meat, fish and produce that is all locally grown on the Big Island. Our favorite is the banana pancakes, but everything we have tried has been great. Run by a nice family with high standards of service.

We stumbled on this little gem while rambling around the Capt. Cook area, and were so glad we did! Enjoyed a late lunch of kalua pork & cabbage and beef teriyaki. Delicious! Owner was the baker and waitress on our visit, and was generous & warm with Aloha spirit. Mostly locals were in & out to eat while we were... More

We stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch and were pleased with the food. The fresh dount (malasaday) was a nice complimentary appetizer before a tasty AHI fish and chips. The service was very good and you can feel the family type atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall a nice meal at a gem on the highway. Stop by and... More

This little restaurant is only open till 3 pm which seems to be the norm for this area. The place is clean, the staff is courteous and willing to try to accommodate. Menu is typical of a little, casual cafe. There are no gluten free buns or bread so I had a taro burger without the bun, which was tasty.... More

My wife and I were on our way to the HVNP from Kona and we saw this place on the place. We stopped and had our breakfast here. Guess what because we were hear so long our trip to HVNP was a short one. It was worth it though. The warm malasadas was simply awesome! We even bought a 1/2... More

Average. Their malasadas are not very good and I love malasadas. The coconut macnut panacakes are pretty good.

Great little sport with lots of local feel and artwork inside. Great service and great food. Not a huge menu but they do a few things well. Free samples of deliscious malasadas. (Donut things) Had pancakes topped with mac nuts and a cocunut type sauce. Fantastic!

I got my best fish sandwich every at this location. My daughter ordered beef teriyaki and it was good. Okay this not gourmet food but it was good and loved the family run feel. Prices were reasonable. But remember Hawaii is not cheap.
