The service is the main problem here. It started with the hostesses. One told our party of 8 we would have a 20 minute wait, then the next party of 8 that walked in was told the same thing by one hostess then seated by the other hostess immediately right in front of us (and no, they didn't have a... the place looks like a cowboy's hangout with peanut shells on the floor and bar like tables. But food is to kill for, we had the chicken wings, the aspargus salad, the fried pickles and the egg frid as starters: great. then the trout, the fried chicken (a killer), the shrimps (prepared like in the south) and the beef burger.... We were on our way back to Jackson when we noticed this place and decided to give it a try....big mistake. It looks great from the outside and the interior has a nice feel but that's where it ends. We were seated and waited 10-15 minutes for a waiter. We then ordered drinks, some fried pickles and our entrees. Our... More

Visited here with my wife and son recently. The first three items we ordered were not available. We found suitable secondary options but told our waiter to let the manager know. In a few minutes the manager stopped by and sat down with us. He very politely apologized and explained why one particular beer wasn't available or the buffalo burger... More

This place has the best barbecue, but is still pretty high end. One of my favorite elements is the peanut bucket and that you can throw the shells on the floor.

I must say from the get go that I do not eat red meat. This makes eating at Q challenging, but not impossible. I went wanting a real BBQ meal- particularly chicken- seemed simple enough. Not an option. It's definitely a very "gamey" menu. I ended up ordering the trout, which was very good. Everyone else was happy with their... More

This is a true Brew Pub, with multiple of their own beers on tap. We tried several beers, and all of them were very good. The bartender told us that several of the beers change seasonally, but there are some that are on all of the time. The food was also excellent. The portions are quite large, so we ended... More

We were very disappointed in our dinners. I had the trout and it was ok but I ordered the summer squash as a side dish and it was 90% corn which I can't eat and 2 small bites of squash. I asked the waitress as no where on the menu does it say anything about corn. She replied yeah that's... More
