Been eating here for many year. The trout was delicious as always. Worth a visit. We will return. Located a bit out of town from Jackson in Wilson.

We started with the marinated vegetable plate appetizer and it was wonderful/refreshing. My son had the blackened trout(locally caught) with a beanless chili and grits. He said it was the best fish he'd ever had and he's had a lot. I had the mussels w/linguini and a side of creamed spinach. It was good but if I could do it... More

Just had lunch there. I had the special, fish tacos. Really, really, dry fried fish in tortillas that were falling to pieces, accompanied by totally dried out refried beans. A most unappetizing-looking plate. Had to ask for a side of salsa to add some moisture to the tacos. They were not good. My friend's burger was fine; the log fries... More

Stopped at Norah's on the way up the pass. We were seated immediately, our order taken and coffee served. Great attentive server. The breakfast was just great and so was the coffee. A good local eatery atmosphere, the locals piled in for their breakfast, a good sign for any diner. If we are ever back this way, Norah's is our... More

We walked into no greeting. Finally they asked how many. We sat down. Crickets. Crickets. Crickets. My buddy went and got our coffee cups and asked the buser if he could bring us some coffee. Finally the server came and said "what do you guys want". Annoyed by now my buddy replied "Hi! What's your name?" Breakfast is breakfast. Pretty... More

Arrived at 9 am on a Saturday morning. Took 10 minutes to be greeted and sat. We were not greeted by a server and had to get up and serve ourselves our coffee and menus. After 15 minutes a server finally showed up but didn't greet us and just asked to take our orders. I understand you're the only place... More

From the Atmosphere to the great greasy spoon meal, everything about the place is great. Plus they recently replaced their old not so great coffee, with local Snake Creek Roasting Company Coffee. It is unbelievably good. Wonderful place that locals and visitors flock to in groves.

I ordered a salad with steak. It came as ordered and imagined: succulent strips of medium rare beef cooked to perfection! Attentive staff!

James Beard Award? Hard to believe based on recent dinner. Special was halibut, which we recalled from earlier menu iteration. DRY. Yugh. "Roasted vegetable" side was partially grilled half of green pepper and half tomato. Smoked trout was good! Wine list is very limited. I love this building and our waiter was a good guy. Might try again but really,... More
