Warm ambience, fresh food, good service

We went for lunch. One got a Reuben, one a cheeseburger, and one a soup & sandwich. It was obvious that all the food was fresh, and it all tasted good. The server was attentive and quick-witted. If I were here more often, this would be one of my regular places.

The huevos rancheros are amazing! My whole family was pleased. In this quaint, historic log cabin, throngs of backcountry skiers and riders will stoke their furnaces before hitting the pow on the pass. But for anyone, perhaps put off by the exorbitant prices of most Jackson eateries, traveling a wee bit out of your way will yield a rewarding experience.... More

Really one of the meals I look forward to most in Jackson. The best nut crusted trout, fresh vegetables, roast tomatoes and salads. A must stop for dinner in the area

Good local atmosphere and food in a rustic, casual setting. Waitresses have been there for ages and are great!

In the past, we have loved going to Nora's for a great breakfast. Sadly, it seems to have changed quite a bit over the past couple of years. The omelets were very small - they appeared to use only 2 eggs. They were rather flat and not very flavor-full. The hash browns were soft, almost soggy. I didn't eat mine.... More

We took advantage of the off-season 2-for-1 deal. (we are locals) We also went early on a week night. Only 3 tables were occupied. We got friendly, fast service in the warm, log-cabiny ambiance. My husband rated the roast beef as the best in Jackson. It was tender and flavorful, with an herbal crust. I did not give 5 stars... More

When you walk in, it looks like a real homey type place carved out of tree trunks, with friendly local faces all around. You order your food and are feeling good. Coffee is ok. But then the food comes.... The omelettes are luke-warm, at best. Mushrooms slices were few and far between. Toast is barely toasted. Pancakes literally fall apart... More

Good food, good service, and rustic surroundings make Nora's a good stop especially for breakfast or lunch. You may sight a moose on your way in as we did, that "extra" bonus that makes this area so unique.

This is a small, rustic restaurant that my husband and I recently visited for breakfast. Although the place was busy on a Saturday morning, service was pleasant and quick, and the food was great. We didn't have to wait to get in, but some folks did after we arrived and they were seated quickly. It has a fun, small town,... More
