MY FOOD WAS SERVED HOT and it was TASTY!

Aren't a lot of choice in Thermop on a Sunday, or any other day for that matter, but it was a Sunday so we ate for our first time at The Black Bear Cafe. I had a simple cheeseburger and fries. It was served to the table less than minutes after it had been prepared in the kitchen. AWESOME! The... read more

Unbelievable! We eat out a lot when we travel especially during the winter since picnics don't do so well at 0*! The food was served hot, just like I like it. I'm particularly amazed because most restaurant food is served like it had been sitting on the shelf waiting for someone to pick it up and take it out to... More

I sincerely want to thank Black Bear Cafe for opening on Christmas Day for breakfast and lunch. How lucky we are to have a cafe who cares so much for us that they would open on Christmas. Thank you so much...appreciate your thoughtfulness!!! Latrell

Rustic atmosphere with great food, served well and quickly. Great place for an in and out restaurant that is not fast food. Homemade soups and desserts available and the fish tacos were excellent. Some vegetarian offerings available. Has outdoor seating for nice weather. Currently just open for breakfast and lunch until 3pm.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and shared a double bison burger with Wyoming Potato Salad (a creamy version which includes chopped bacon). The place was busy with couples and families and most seemed to be locals. Waitresses were mostly young and very friendly. Food came quickly. An attached espresso/Sundae shop is reached by going...
