We ate breakfast at the Black Bear Café this morning, and I ate the excellent potatoes as leftovers this evening. Great menu for a small-town café. Service was good (and I'm a former server, so picky). Interesting interior. Plan to return with my friends.

Having a bear on the storefront and in the name always means good food. Not spectacular but a good breakfast.

We were on vacation and decided to try something new. This little café was really neat, loved the stuff hanging on the wall, real down home feeling and the burgers were awesome!! We will definitely be back!

I've been to the Black Bear Cafe a number of times while vacationing in Thermopolis, WY. They have a really good Reuben Sandwich and a killer Bread Pudding with a whiskey sauce. i try to get in there every year at least once. Great atmosphere and waitstaff!

Stopped in for breakfast before our sight seeing journey. Breakfast was excellent. The beautiful and very kind server took care of our bill for our Military service. We are honored, what a great way to start a day. Thank you Sheridan!

My husband and I stopped here for brunch. He order the french dip and I had the pancakes with ham. He comments: that was the worst food I have ever eaten and I could barely get it down. My review: ham and pancakes were great except I show have order two pancakes instead of three even though I was quite... More

Nice western motif and very good food works for me. Big menu and daily breakfast and lunch specials are offered. I had the pancakes, egg and sausage this morning, it was good. Service is excellent. Reasonable prices. I would return.

Staff is always friendly and the food good, even during busy times. I asked for an egg and bacon sandwich and without hesitation it arrived and was well priced given it was more or less a custom request.
