the manby moose has been around since the late 60's so is a must for character. the food is alright... a visit to the moose is more about the atmosphere than the food.

Yes, it's a long-running, historically established popular spot; I know it's right at the mountain; I know but I'm sorry. Atmosphere is great but it's not living up to the reputation. We gave it two tries. The first time we walked out after 30 minutes with no one coming to our table at all. People at the next table gave...

Skiing brought me to this aptly named area," Tetons,"(little breasts), but the lure of this ridiculous apre-ski establishment left me wishing there were mote places like this one.
Not original as tar as being an eclectic collection ofv'tiques, the saloon and restaurant are destinations. Go for the "Moose" theme therein, and the rest will fall into place. Food quite good,...

Love, love love the real wood burning fire they have going when you come in after skiing! Nachos are fabulous and the service is good too
Very definitely an apres ski bar and restaurant. Be prepared to kick back, take some time, and relax after those runs down the slopes. Soak up the western ski time atmosphere and relax. The food will be *good*, but if busy may take some time. But that's ok. Try the Bison burger it is tasty, a hearty meal, and very...

The food is really good here. We found the service a little slow, but overall had a good experience. The location cannot be beat!
We were staying in Teton Village with family and decided to walk over to the Mangy Moose to grab a local beer one night. Fun atmosphere and good service.
My wife and I had lunch her the first day we arrived on a spring sking trip. This is the main bar in Teton Village and is a very fun place to go so is a must stop if you are looking for fun, a sandwich and a beer.
Be certain to visit the Mangy Moose while in Jackson Hole. It's an iconic ski bar/restaurant. Good bar food.
. . . it's all about the gimmicky name, but the food is excellent, and service prompt and pleasant. Three for dinner and all were pleased.
