In February 2008, Fine Dining Restaurant Group, of Rendezvous Bistro & Q Roadhouse fame, brought a taste of Italy to Jackson Hole with the opening of Il Villaggio Osteria. Located inside the Hotel Terra which is the state’s first LEED certified property and only the fifth in the United States. Highlights of the intimate restaurant are Il Villagio Osteria’s 12-seat wine bar and eight seat salami bar, where guests can watch as imported meats and cheeses, sourced from the country’s finest purveyors, are hand-sliced to order. House made pastas, sausage stuffed olives, beautiful wines and entrees round out the exquisite multi course menu.

The first time I went to Il Villagio Ostaria I went alone to have a glads of wine at the bar. The wine selection is quite impressive for a mountain resort. To go with the wine, I ordered a cheese playe which had the best of the kind Italian sheep cheases. The second time we ate from this restaurant was... More

Bustling, lively atmosphere. Friendly service. Wood fired pizzas are super tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely have a meal here when spending time at Jackson Hole.

We went for our daughter's birthday. The place presented a bit dark and "cluby". It seemed a bit out of place for Teton Village. The food was good but not great but was generously portioned. However, the prices seemed high. Our overall impression was that it presented like a modern NYC Italian restaurant.

Very popular restaurant and great to have a good option in Teton Village. We've eaten at some of the sister restaurants and had fabulous meals (The Kitchen in particular) so had high expectations but it was not quite at that level.

We enjoyed two interesting appetizers and some fabulous Italian 'super Tuscan' wine. We took the advice of our bartender and he was right. Pork belly(!) was incredible-a signature dish, as was the grilled cauliflower.

The Villagio Osteria is a noisy Italian restaurant close to all hotels in Jackson Hole Ski Resort. The meals are excellent and service is friendly but brisk. No reservations are necessary, which makes this place a very convenient "second kitchen" for visitors to Teton Village.

We had quite a wait even though we had reservations, the restaurant was very very crowded and loud. The service was pretty good but slow. Whatever you do don't order the Red Deer, which I confused w/ Venison, it is not!! Very tough. They were nice to bring a substitute dish but they need to just remove it from the... More

The calamari salad was great, pizza had great fresh basil, bread was perfectly soft but crusty, and service was attentive, although not as friendly as most other restaurants on the mountain.

Consistently great food and awesome wine list. We visit every trip and love the low key vibe and great service. A must!
