In February 2008, Fine Dining Restaurant Group, of Rendezvous Bistro & Q Roadhouse fame, brought a taste of Italy to Jackson Hole with the opening of Il Villaggio Osteria. Located inside the Hotel Terra which is the state’s first LEED certified property and only the fifth in the United States. Highlights of the intimate restaurant are Il Villagio Osteria’s 12-seat wine bar and eight seat salami bar, where guests can watch as imported meats and cheeses, sourced from the country’s finest purveyors, are hand-sliced to order. House made pastas, sausage stuffed olives, beautiful wines and entrees round out the exquisite multi course menu.

Great food

Excellent food that is highly recommended if you need a break from all the meat dishes. Be sure to make reservations as it fills up quickly.

Let me begin with the fact that the food and service were amazing. We sat at the bar and had a great bartender who was personable and had great recommendations. Then, a family of four sits down next to us with two kids under the age or 3 or 4. These kids could barely sit on the bar stools. Not... More

Lively, friendly atmosphere. Teenagers liked the pizza. The duck ragu pasta was quite good as was the salmon. The fried cauliflower and brussels sprouts were really good. We began and ended our trip at Osteria and found it relaxing and reasonable. They book up, so reservations are a good idea if not eating early or late.

It's not your average American resturant with an Italian menu. Very creative dishes. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meal. Appetizers were excellent!

I was looking forward to having a nice Italian dinner and was disappointed to find it to be simply average. Went with a group of friend and the concuss was the same. Several people ordered the gnocchi and had to send it back because it was flavorless and mushy. They server was very accommodating and rushed to get them a... More

Sunday night, arrived 5pm to check about getting a reservation for two. Was told earliest would be 8:45pm. Called again to ask about options, was told wine bar/pizza bar were options. We headed down to grab seats and try a few choice morsels. At the recommendations of our server, we took a glass of prosecco to start and the flash-fried... More

Pizzas were very good. Use caution in ordering as appetizers because the main courses will be generous.

I didn't want pizza so I was looking for a better meal. The menu was quite nice but almost every dish had game or pork or meat which was good for my husband who tried the pasta with bison boullionase but I am not a meat eater and do not eat game. The appetizers and salmon dishes were fine and... More

I was simply expecting better. Our first course was an appetizer naturally consisting of baked house pulled mozzarella & prosciutto with spicy tomato sauce. The sauce was runny/ watery, the prosciutto was slightly gamie. The sauce was not spicy and flavorless. Moving on, we were served a glass of house white wine that was ice cold. My wifes response was... More

We travel to Teton Village at least once a year, and have always looked at this restaurant but had never tried it. Our first night in the village we popped in to see if there was by chance an available table. Luckily, there was. The service was spot on....not too slow, but not pushy either. Good wine and cocktail menu.... More
