In February 2008, Fine Dining Restaurant Group, of Rendezvous Bistro & Q Roadhouse fame, brought a taste of Italy to Jackson Hole with the opening of Il Villaggio Osteria. Located inside the Hotel Terra which is the state’s first LEED certified property and only the fifth in the United States. Highlights of the intimate restaurant are Il Villagio Osteria’s 12-seat wine bar and eight seat salami bar, where guests can watch as imported meats and cheeses, sourced from the country’s finest purveyors, are hand-sliced to order. House made pastas, sausage stuffed olives, beautiful wines and entrees round out the exquisite multi course menu.

Exquisite Italian

The food, service and atmosphere at Il Villaggio Osteria were all fantastic. Casual vibe, but the overall experience would play well in any big city market. The pastas are wonderful.

I've read on a blog that the lasagna is one of their best meal. Other items on the menu did not interested me so much. But the lasagna was awesome and is a sure choice. Great Evening

We have eaten at Osteria 4 or 5 times in the past two years. The food is the best in Teton Village. You really can't go wrong with any of their choices. Go with what sounds good, and I'm sure it will be!!!

Great Italian food, pastas and pizzas with an impressive wine list and professional staff - perfect way to end a day on the slopes! Even better that it's in the Hotel Terra! Have been three times over the past three years and we're always happy we stopped in!!

The food is fabulous and the service even better. Brussel sprouts and deer. Cornell alumna owned. Perfect in every way! Great wine list and fun crowded place.

We had a great lunch here, the restaurant is very busy and I found it quite noisy but the food is excellent and service is also very good. Wonderful lasagne if you need something homey and filling and I loved the speck and mozzarella entree with spicy tomato sauce. Delicious!

The restaurant is decorated well but they have shoved as many tables as possible into the dining space. I was practically bumping elbows with the man at the table behind us the entire evening. The service was the best best part of the evening as it was friendly, professional and attentive. The food was very good but not exceptional. We... More

Pretty much everything here is good--grilled octopus and pork belly for appetizers, stuffed pappardelle and orecchiette for pasta, red deer filet for an entree. Pizzas are great and you can carry out - Salumi and the Four Seasons. Wine selection by the glass is average, but lots of bottles. Very friendly staff and cozy, yet busy atmosphere. Recommend getting a... More

Four of us, all JH locals, dined here last week. Not surprisingly, given that ski season is in full force, the place was bustling, so definitely make reservations. With a nearly full house, it can get noisy, so if romance is on your mind, I'm not sure this is the place when it's busy. Two of us had the Fettucini... More

Had a good meal with our group at the restaurant. We ordered pizza for appetizers and both were fantastic. Service was excellent. The eating area was a little small, and a little loud. Entrees were all considered good by our group, but nobody was blown away with the meal. Price was reasonable - $80 a person with cocktail, wine, appetizer... More
