The Mint!!

This is a great place; local and touristy at the same time. We were there for the Leather Crafters trade show in May and visited both nights. Colorful locals and lots of trade show peeps. We had a blast!

Not too impressed. They hand out a walking tour brochure, but when we were unable to locate some of the historical items within the bar, we only got smug attitude from the bartender. Mostly hype.

If you want a real old west experience, a visit to the Mint is definitely in order. Folks there are friendly, the booze is very reasonably priced, and the decor is all original old west and well patinated from years of "watering" cowboys. Definitely worth stopping in for a beer (or five)!

I did not actually eat or drink here, but the staff was happy to allow us to look around. If the kids were not with us, I am sure this would have been a highlight of our trip.

The Mint Bar is a nice little place to stop in and have a drink in the afternoon. Once night time hits it becomes fairly full being that it is long and narrow. Limited seating so show up early if you want a spot to sit. One pool table located in the back of the bar is another reason to... More

It's a local bar with a cool sign and felt like a real town bar from who-knows anywhere in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, etc. I'm sure a lot of tourists like myself stop in just because of the sign, but I enjoyed the fact it hasn't become a hipster trap, yet.

The Mint is one of the oldest bars, and has a fun atmosphere with cattle brands on the walls. Something to at least check out when you're in town, even if you don't drink.

A step back in time, hundreds of pictures of the old west on walls. Great & friendly staff. Good drinks and the atmosphere is fantastic. Try and be there for rodeo weekend sometime.
