This bar is not only historic to Sheridan, but it is a great little bar with great service. It is quirky and has awesome character. We Loved it and recommend to stop by and grab a drink!

My hubbs and I went here to check out all the hype...we enjoyed the historic decor and the drink prices were decent..not to much to write about since it was kind of dead..but the people who were there seemed pretty cool..it's also a Lil bigger then what it looks like on the outside..all in all, we would go back but... Loved revisiting the Mint Bar while visiting my college roommate. We frequented the bar when in college and it was so much fun to come back!

Don't miss The Mint Bar if you're in Sheridan. It's right in the heart of downtown and has a terrific atmosphere as a meeting place from the Old West. The decorations are a delight, you can't miss the 8 foot long rattlesnake skin over the bar, it's just under a giant moose head. Probably the most delightful spot of our... More

Best place ever (This is where I first met my husband of 18 years!) We still enjoy coming here after all these years. They make a mean Bloody Mary'! Great western atmosphere, I love the historical photos and brands on the wall - they make a delicious Moscow Mule too -

The Mint Bar was recommended to us by a fellow traveler at our hotel. He was in the oil business and knew the area well. We stopped in after dinner and had a wonderful time. The bartender, a really friendly woman, immediately made us feel at home. Really great prices, friendly surroundings, and no rush atmosphere. The bar reminds me... More

Great place to have a drink, play some pool and visit - Locals, proud of Sheridan History, filled us in on the reason for the name of the Mint Bar - just ask them...don't want to ruin the suspense. :-) It is a bar so children would not enjoy or be appropriate, We gathered for a wedding and spent time... Stopped in the late afternoon for a quick beer and a few games of pool. Wanted to see all the ranch brands embossed on the wall, read about it in a travel guide. Attentive bartender, interesting artifacts-animal heads and such, on the walls over the bar. Beer was nice and cold, nice pool table.

Fun place for a beer. Lots of stuffed animals. Bartender was very helpful in suggesting places to eat.

This bar has been operating at this location since 1908 with uninterrupted service except for the prohibition era. The bar is decorated with a wide variety of mounts and the walls are covered with shingles with local ranch brands. Of particular interest are some of the photographs and replica newspaper articles from the 1860's. One particular front page story discusses... More
