If you want to see some of the history of Sheridan and of the Mint bar you could spend hours looking at picture and reading articles placed on the wall of this historical place. Lots of wild game mounts and rustic feel with the all wood interior. Good attention from staff to service patrons.

This is a bar, not a restaurant. No kitchen. For a bar, it's not bad - small, only one walkway and too crowded some nights. Smoky. Of course, what do you expect for a bar in a smoker's haven town such as Sheridan?

This is a fun cowboy bar. If you want to experience Wyoming nightlife, here it is. Warning, during rodeo week it's packed and not too fun.

Really old bullet holes! And lots of dead animals on the wall. Really cool decor, great service! Highly recommended!

Stopped in to get a drink and check out the history. Drink prices were good. Service was great. Check this place out if you like western history.

The historic Mint Bar in downtown Sheridan is a must visit, even if you're a teetotaler (have a coffee and take in the atmosphere anyhow). From the great mahogany bar and cedar booths to the photos, brands, and taxidermied critters scattered throughout, this rustic bar apparently hasn't changed much since the 1940s. A full bar (good scotch and whiskey) is... More

The Mint is a fun bar to vist for a beer or two. There are so many things to look at posted on the walls and mounted animals to look at. Be sure to check out the wooden booths and tables in the back of the bar. This place is a "Must" stop while in Sheridan.

Just visited in the morning as we had read about it, wonderful memorabilia and decor, well worth the visit. We had a coffee and the very friendly barman was not going to charge us, what a nice gesture. Well worth a look.
