Great place to have a drink, lot to see, good service, not your "run of mill" establishment. The bar gives a view of the wild animals found in the area.

Stepping into the cool, dim air of the Mint in downtown Sheridan was enough to quickly allow the hours on the Interstate trail to fade. What a bar! Nothing is for "show", decoration to improve the "western-ness" for tourists or locals. First of all, the Mint is a local bar where you can get a shot and a beer and... More

It's not the tales of my father and his pals getting thrown in jail after a fight in his tuxedo after a wedding party decided it was a "good idea" to go to the Mint way back in 1965, and then find that their "penguin get-ups" weren't to the liking of the locals cowboys, that gets me to the Mint... You can read the history of the bar on their website, which I highly recommend before you go. I'm not a fan of seeing dead animals on walls, but this is part of the environment and added to the character of the bar. Bottles of beer were very inexpensive and the bartender was really nice and helpful. I honestly think... More

We stop here every year. We like the bartenders and the company here, down to earth and not too fancy. Good stop.

If you're this far north in Wyoming you've already had a taste of the pioneer spirit. Drop into the Mint Bar and have some pioneer spirits along the way and enjoy this quaint little downtown area. The bar is very well appointed - beautiful wooden bar, booths and wall treatment. Lots of stuffed animals. Very much a taste of the... More

Stopped in here in the middle of the day and a beer. The bartender was friendly but didnt seem to know much about the bar. We milled around inside and checked out all the old pictures of rodeos and cowboys. The booths in the back were amazing. The wood was knarly and created these cozy sitting areas. The place was... Just stopped in for a few as we were passing through town. Enjoyed the mounts on the walls lots to look at. The back bar had interesting wood work on it. Liked the gnarled logs, The bartender was friendly and chatty enjoyed our stay.
