Not much in Newcastle to choose from but this is a surprisingly comfy venue and pretty broad, Italian based menu. Great price points but realize the meals are small plate priced so for $2 more you get "the large plate" which is plenty. Great bread.

This is one of the better places to eat in Newcastle. Good food and good portions at a fair price. Lots of menu choices and daily specials to chose from. Decor is a little sparse but the food makes up for it.

I have had their pasta and it was good. If you get a full order of any pasta, be ready to take some home. Very large portions. But my favorite dish there is the cranberry walnut chicken salad. They make their own cranberry dressing for this salad and use a nice blend of mixed greens with the other ingredients. This... More

We stopped in here for dinner on a recommendation. THe restaurant is easy to find on the main street and has a big parking lot. I had chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and DH had linguine with clams. The food was OK, but it wasn't authentic Italian. The marinara sauce was very sweet, which I didn't care for. The breaded chicken... More

Ate at Isabella's before a community concert. Had shrimp scampi and it was very good. It was served with fresh Italian bread, no salad. But the portion was generous. Would definitely eat here again when in the area. Interesting menu in that they have Chinese food three days/week.

Portions are very generous, food is OK. I gather this place gets such great reviews due to lack of other comparable restaurants in the area. This is not authentic Italian; let's face it: overcooked pasta is not terribly authentic. Sauces are extremely rich, just butter-butter-butter. The raviolis made at the restaurant were good. Service was very slow but the servers... More

Ate here on a whim and loved it! Great pasta, and good wine! Staff was very friendly and down to earth.

We were in Newcastle, WY, around lunch time on a Black Hills day trip. Husband says, "Let's have lunch" and suggests a well-known national franchise sandwich shop. I said, "Let's look for the place where all the local cars are parked." Downtown we found Isabella's. Had no idea what kind of place or type of food, but walked in because... More

This was a ton of fun restaurant!! Run by a brother and two sisters, this place has a WORLD of charm! They renovated the original building of over 100 years and still have the original sign in one of their windows. The menu is extremely eclectic and weird - american, italian, and chinese dishes are all served. It's a fairly... More

Had penne and prosciutto, except they used bacon crumbles and Canadian bacon slices instead of prosciutto. Yuck. Guess they don't think anyone notices. They also said it came with 'homemade' bread; ya it wasn't. Waitress didn't come back to the table, so we skipped the cheesecake that we wanted. They lost $10 in desert and tip.
