Donna herself waited on us today. Not surprisingly, she was very friendly. The egg salad sandwich tasted like something you'd expect to pay twice as much for at a famous deli. It was fresh, the bread was delicious, and the portion was generous as well. Every table was filled by noon in this little town. We love to support local... More

We were a party of six and were passing through on our way to Sturgis. We asked a lady at a gas station where the locals eat and she said Donna's. She was right on because when we walked in we saw a restaurant full of locals. The service was prompt, excellent sandwiches, and a very friendly waitress. Wonderful change... More

We stopped for breakfast. The service was pleasant, the food great, and there was plenty of it. Great place to stop for a break!

The breakfast here was delicious. It is a very local diner in a small, western town. The service was good, but the attitude of the waitress left a little something to be desired!

She took a piece of roasted chicken breast, sliced it, grilled it and place those pieces on a carefully laid bed of spinach and greens and vege. My partner's sandwich was nicely done too. I like these places, locally owned and dependent on a regular lunch crowd because it is not on the hi way. Please take time and stop... More

Good local diner, had grilled walleye special which was fantastic, group also had quesadillas & kids had grilled cheese & chicken nuggets, 2 full 4 dessert but looked good. I didn't care 4 cheesy broccoli soup but my husband loved it.

We stopped here after a fun day at mt. Rushmore. It wasn't crowded like many of the tourist filled restaurants we had been by. The restaurant itself is a little unassuming, but the food and service is top notch! I ordered the crispy chicken salad and thought it was delicious. Glad we stopped here.

We ate breakfast here as we were leaving town. Place was packed, but service came immediately. Blueberry pancakes was their special & they were delicious & very filling. Portions were extremely generous. Prices were very reasonable & it got us off to a great start on a long drive ahead of us. Very homey atmosphere.

We arrived here on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 tired and hungry. Stepping into Donna's is like entering your mother's own kitchen....comfy, easy, and delicious! We had a reuben sandwich and a burger-both were very good. Thanks, Donna for sending us on our way full and happy.
