No need to go past Trappers

Trappers is not as flash as The Peaks restaurant but it has amazing views, good service, and we found the food and wine more than adequate.

Although we didn't stay at the Signal Mountain Lodge we decided to have our breakfast there anyway, and boy we weren't disappointed. I went for the Backpacker Burrito which was not only delicious but also huge, enough to keep me filled for a whole day hiking in Grand Teton NP. Dinner is served with view on the lake. It goes... Beautiful view of the lake and good food. We ate soup and turkey sandwich. Both very good. Service very good also. Busy place T mealtime, so off times are best during the busy season.

My wife and I ate at Trapper Grill twice during our recent stay at Signal Mountain Lodge, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The location is perfect as it is just a short walk from any of the cabins in the complex (our cabin was at the far end of the facility down by the lake and we only... More

The Trapper Grill has a good variety of food at reasonable resort prices. Beware if you order the full size nacho plate - it can feed four!

Went in for a quick meal and that is just what we had. Generous servings and very tasty food. Service as with everywhere here at the Lodge was great.

Fast service, great views, friendly staff. Liked the cranberry pesto turkey sandwich. The hamburger was just ok. Liked their potato chips too. You are stuck with not a lot to choose from and most places were closed for the season (October), but it was good and would go back.

Eating our way through several Western national parks we had become accustomed to being gouged for mediocre food. We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience in the Trapper Grill. The menu is varied and interesting, but our group all opted for either a salad or a burger and fries. The burgers arrived hot and juicy and the fries were... More

Thank you for your positive and detailed review of our restaurant. It is wonderful to read that you enjoyed dining with us. For clarification, we are actually owned by Forever Resorts (not the Grand Teton Lodge Company). We hope to see you in the future! I expected to pay through the nose for mediocre quality food - due to the proximity to two National Parks and the great views. I was right about the great views, but not the rest. The food was of a very good quality and the portions were plentiful (does anyone ever finish their Nachos starter?). It was peaceful sitting outside... More

We ate here for lunch several years ago and came back for dinner on this trip. The food was plentiful and O.K. The view of the mountains was wonderful though and the prices were somewhat reasonable for national park restaurants.
