Good place to stop while visiting the National Parks

We stopped for breakfast while visiting the Teton National Park. The food was very good & the service was quick & friendly. The dining room overlooks Jackson Lake which is picture perfect. I had the Quiche & my husband had the Mountain man omelet. The coffee is very good, made in Jackson & you can... read more

Fun place to eat at Signal Mountain Lodge resort right on Jackson Lake. Great views of the Teton Mountains with menu prices from $10-15.00 for lunch and $6-15.00 for breakfast. They list both healthy and gluten free dishes (which my wife needs),

We were wanting to eat in areas of the National Park which opened early for dinner as we wanted to go looking for wildlife at dusk and see the glorious sunsets. We hadn't come across Trapper Grill on previous trips and were keen to give it a try. No difficulty getting a table and lovely views from the restaurant. Food... More

Trapper sandwiches, fish choices, onion rings and coleslaw were very good. Varied & fairly extensive menu, considering the location. It is a popular place, so there may be a wait for a table, and a longer wait for a table by the windows.

We had breakfast here every morning of our stay. The service could be slow at times but the breakfasts were well cooked and always hot and not expensive and you still get a good view of the lake and the mountains. Even if there were other options this would probably still be first stop.

Staying at the park lodges leaves few choices for meals. We ate twice at Trapper Grill for breakfast. The menu offered the usual breakfast fare - omelets, pancakes, eggs, sausage ... but the prices were at least 30% more than a comparable hotel restaurant in Connecticut.

Food was decent - not outstanding, but pretty good for a national park restaurant. So much better than cafeterias we're used to in national parks. Service was erratic. Ate here two evenings. Wait staff friendly, but did not return to see if we were happy with meal nor to offer drink refills. But the view made up for any slack... More

We stayed in a Signal Mountain Lodge cabin three nights during the end of September 2015 and we ate at the Trapper Grill several times during that period--both breakfast and supper. The food was always good and the service was prompt and friendly. The view of Mount Moran from the restaurant is excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to return to the... More

We've eaten here a handful of times, and the experience has been erratic. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it's pretty poor, sometimes it's average. Same can be said of the service. On our most recent visit, the sandwiches were average and the soup was too salty to eat. In many places it seems salt is a substitute for flavor.... More

As it is with many of these lodges in National Parks the view is much better than the food. I had a turkey sandwich which looked like something my mother would put in my lunchbox many years ago. It was accompanied by limp fries. Service was quick but lacking any personality. If you go I think you're better off just... More
