Not far from the University, a refreshing alternative to the strip mall fast food joints...more in line for those with "organic" tastes...

On my first day in Laramie, I just dropped into Jeffrey's while walking around downtown. What a lucky choice - soup of the day was just perfect to warm up with, followed by a gigantic salad. The restaurant was packed, so I was not the only one enjoying the place. Service was prompt, kind and excellent. Highly recommended.

I go there most of the time for lunch. Great, not bland salads, very good sandwiches and soups, deserts to DIE FOR! All of that in a small place with character and very friendly and nice servers.

I had the Thai shrimp burrito and it was very good; my spousal unit, a pasta dish with chicken. He really enjoyed his entree. One caution: Make sure you know if you’re ordering ala carte or the meal. We thought we ordered the dinners and ended up paying quite a bit more. Get there early; it is a popular place... More

I have to admit that my family regularly eats at Jeffrey's. We usually go there on Friday evenings for their fresh fish special. Last night we had the Scottish Salmon which might be just some of the best fish I have ever had in a restaurant anywhere. I asked how they prepared it whether it was pan seared or broiled.... More

It's nice to eat in a city you don't know, and be able to find a restaurant that is small, and not some chain. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

Not your steak and potatoes kind of place ... so if you're looking for a good fillet go to the Cotton Exchange in Waterford WI instead. But if you're interested in a GREAT tasting dinner when you're in Laramie .. don't hesitate. Go to Jeffrey's Bistro! Great selection of wine, excellent Brie with Almonds and Granny apples appetizer, a huge... More

My family ordered an asian dish that required rice noodles only to be told after 15 min. that they were all out and would have to substitute spaghetti. Had over 20 wait for our food to be brought. Don't think we'll go back.

This place has an ecletic menu and a good emphasis on vegetables which is refreshing. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is copious but not as tasty as I expected. However, it is always busy at lunch time and it seems to satisfy most peoples tastes. It does not take reservations so you must have time to wait... More

Whenever I'm in Laramie and need a place to have a good sandwich and a quick beer, I'll make sure to go to Jeffrey's Bistro. Their sandwiches are always good, friend green beans are excellent and their selection of beers beats most national restaurant chains hands down. You can tell this is a good place because a lot of Laramie... More
