i'm playing this mystery game and i love it, but they want me to use real cash to continue. the other way is to waste my time and do stuff like this to earn cash. this is no way to game at all. never been to wyoming but there's a chelo's where i live and it's nice, so i assume... More

Ordered a Hot Dog, person who made it just did not know how. The Location and Parking Lot was not much better. Just did not have a good experience.

The food here is awful. My son ordered the Chelo's Plate, which appeared to be a tortilla with microwaved Cheese Whiz on top. I ordered an enchilada with green sauce. It came with canned, starchy red sauce. The beans were also canned and dried out. My husband and other son ordered burritos - a dried-out flour tortilla with equally dried-out... More

This is NOT authentic Mexican food. If you liked canned sauce, canned beans and "enchiladas" in store bought flour tortillas this place is for you. Not authentic. Not worth the calories. If you know good, real Mexican food and that is what you are after then this is NOT the place for you.

A Laramie secret, try the chicken tacos with guacamole - a Laramie favorite. Only accepted cash the last time I was there.

Even though some of my friends poo poo Chelos as "non-authentic", it's the Mexican restaurant I prefer in town. I crave their cheese and onion enchiladas and nobody can beat the price, plus I adore the "scenic" decor and the fact that it's about as big as my garage. I think it is an old-fashioned gem with good food and... More

If you are looking for authentic mexican food go somewhere else. BUT I love Chelos. A great little diner on the west side with 10 tables at most, simple but great food, and across the street from the best dive bar in town. The food is definitely americanized but oh so good, and they make their own flour tortillas. The... More

Personally I think this place is excellent for the money. Chelo's has been around forever. Some items like the Chicken Enchillada are very good and then the Beef Burrito is a really good load of ground beef on a tortilla. Grab their taco sauce and douse....now the burrito is great. Their Sopapias are AWESOME and traditional. The two of us... More

Don't come here expecting authentic Mexican food. This is a neighborhood diner that just happens to serve burritos instead of burgers. They use a lot of Velveeta. It's not good or bad, it's just comfort food. Most of the people in Chelos at any time know each other, and they talk back and forth across the dining room. You can... More

Maybe I just hit it on a wrong night but the attitude of both servers was lacking a lot. Not friendly at all..... except maybe to the regulars who came in. Food was so-so.... doubt I will go back.
