Stopped in for dinner during recent visit to Laramie. We arrived without a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. All of our meals were good (meat was prepared well). Beer and wine selection were also good. The service was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs.

We selected this restaurant because of Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. I had their pizza special (Pepperoni, Sausage, mushrooms & olives) - Loved the flavors & thin crust. Also had a Caesar salad - well done. My husband had the salad and Steak & Shrimp. He thought the steak was medallions so the large pieces (8 oz)... More

Great bartender, food, service, atmosphere. Really enjoyed our experience here. It was recommended by the front desk clerk at the Quality Inn, and we're glad we listened. Located in historic downtown with a terrific mural on the back of the building. Really liked Laramie and would definitely visit the town and the restaurant again.

We went there and had the prime rib. It was outstanding even that it was late in the evening. It was cooked to a great temperature. Our waiter Pat made of night very enjoyable . He was always conscious about our meal . His attention to detail was awesome . This was our first time here and it was very... More

Altitude is a brewpub which is located in historic downtown Laramie close to the U Wyoming campus. The atmosphere is typical of a renovated downtown building. There is a pool table in the side room but I didn't see anyone playing it. First of all, the beer is just average for a microbrewery. We tried four different brews, each with... More

I've been traveling to Laramie a couple of times per year for over ten years and Altitude Chophouse quickly became my first choice for a meal. I've always enjoyed their food but on a visit there recently, I had absolutely one of the best meals I've ever had out when traveling for business. The Mainated Chicken with Artichoke and Brie... Our B&B owners recommended this restaurant. Don't expect anything fancier than a brewpub. But the steak was exceptional. Not thick but cooked perfectly (med - rare) and tender. The rub that they use really enhances the flavor. And the martini was good too.

Service was really slow. Waited 20 minutes to get seated. The wife's prime rib and my New York steak were excellent. My IPA was good.
