I enjoy going there occasionally since I am not vegetarian. I really enjoy black bean based meals. They have good lentil dishes.

Everything about Sweet Melissa's is great. All their food is really great and the bar that is attached, Front Street, is good too!

as a Midwestern i grew up primarily eating meat and potatoes - so when i did my culinary internship in Colorado, tofu was something that i hadn't really delt with. While i was up in the mountains i made friends with some fantastic people many of whom were vegetarians. Looking back i feel bad now - anytime i 'cooked' for... More

This place was recommended to us by the folks at our hotel and it was perfect. Super healthy food like sweet potato burritos, amazing salsa, black bean tacos, but first there were wonderful original cocktails. I had a delicious margarita, fresh made with herbs and my friend had something called a Cloth Napkin which was some kind of chocolate, almond... More

The food is great. I lived in Laramie while going to school, so I've been to several restaurants in town. The food is fantastic, everything has fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. Absolutely recommend this place.

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a go for dinner. When we walked in the atmosphere was really buzzing and the smell of the food was delicious. My husband ordered a lasagne and I ordered the Thai stir fry (peanut, ginger etc) both were specialities. Service was good and friendly and I was really... More

The waiter said that the vegetarian burrito was one of the best sellers at lunch. The burrito normally contains sweet potatoes with the other ingredients of black beans and rice. They were out of the sweet potatoes and offered to substitute white potatoes. I accepted but regretted it after I received my meal. White potatoes are rather bland in the... More

You wouldn't expect to find a top-notch vegetarian restaurant in Laramie, WY, but Sweet Melissa's is absolutely an excellent place to eat if you don't favor meat. The food is always fresh, the service is always excellent, and the prices are always good. The mushroom swiss veggie burger is as juicy and good as any meat burger: it features a... More

If I could cook like this, my husband would happily become vegetarian & never look back. I got the seitan fajitas & they were fresh, with a great spicy kick. DH got the sweet potato burrito & loved every bite. Filling, & also had a spicy kick. DD got the grilled cheese off the kids menu & DH said the... More

We were walking around downtown Laramie and we kept smelling something good, and we found it at Sweet Melissa cafe. The dishes that we had, 3Bean chili and black beam tamale pie, both were excellent. The crowd was mixed with both young adults and seniors.
