We found the fried whitefish to be tasty and cooked just right -- not too dry. The chicken fried steak, on the other hand, was inedible -- grizzle throughout; a replacement was offered, but you know how it is sometimes, when you have lost your appetite and just don't want to take a chance on another one. Service was excellent,... More

The best thing so far as I am concerned is the King of the road chicken fried steak, w/ the salad bar. It is very filling, a good piece of meat treated properly and cooked to perfection. It is a little slow at dinner time, the wait staff is a mix bag, but all in all it is a good... More

I ordered my food to go over the phone and lady was very pleasant and professional. I ordered fluffy french toast combo with my egg over easy and my husband had cornbeef hash skillet with sunny side up eggs. My food was disgusting and looked disgusting. I go there nearly every Sunday morning for breakfast but this time was bad.... More

Wasn't sure what to expect at a truck stop restaurant, but this was the closest place, and after our visit, we would choose it again. They have a salad, soup and hot food bar similar to a Golden Corral and unusual menu items like bacon pancakes with chocolate gravy. Servers were all smiling, competent and food was tasty.

We picked this place based on the excellent online reviews, and it lived up to its reputation. Great food, service, and prices with a very convenient location.

They gave us generous portions, reasonably priced, excellent waitress, handy to motels. Had we stayed in Laramie longer we would have returned.

I'm a former truck driver and have never had a 'bad' experience at an Iron Skillet, the Petro version of home cooking. The food is pretty good for standard cafe fare, but the people make it a pleasant experience. Our Waitress was no exception. She has that "second sense" on how to treat a customer. Sometimes a person wants to... More

Needed some soup and a sandwich to go. Wait staff were helpful and pleasant. Soup was good, not fancy gourmet, sandwich was put together rather well. All in all a good place to stop for good basic food. Fuel for the body and fuel for your car, all in one place.

Only restaurant close to some of the motels on this side of town. Service not too great (no service with a smile!!), but food was good. Salad bar buffet was good value with lots of choices, and even choice of several desserts.

No surprises. Restaurant is a chain so food same everywhere. My chichen fried chicken served on mashed potatoes was good. The potatoes were real not instant as they were lumpy but still good.
