Pro: Staff was abundantly friendly. So friendly! Cool place for taking note of everyday folk. Con: Food just was not that great. Greasy, bland, over-cooked...I was hoping for a gem but we just got an average diner.

It is a small restaurant that looks like a hole in the wall. It is the place to go in Laramie for a fairly low cost breakfast or lunch that is pretty good. People do flock there for their cinnamon rolls. We don't have a lot of breakfast choices here and this is probably the best of the lot if... More

I enjoyed the breakfast burrito at the Prairie Rose one morning while in Laramie. It was great, though it is pretty hard to make a bad burrito anyway. The place is in the old part of town and mostly just a small sit down diner. The service was quick and sharp, and the burrito very tasty.

Went here two mornings in a row for breakfast and enjoyed it. Had their special omelet the first morning (bacon, mushrooms, and other good stuff) and then the breakfast burrito the next. The latter is a real gut bomb and very, very good, though the green chile that smothers it is only so-so. Great coffee, excellent service--the place is packed... More

Been here twice now. Food is decent, not outstanding. Prices are very reasonable. Service is good. Not sure if they deserve a #1 trip advisor rating though in a town of 30,000. Tried to eat breakfast but they don't open doors till 7 am which doesn't cut it for my schedule.

My taxi driver from the airport told me this was the best place for breakfast, and I'm sure she was right. I really enjoyed this small restaurant and the attentive service. Portions are plentiful.

Simply the best. Great service, tasty food - I always get the green chili smothered breakfast burrito. Can't go wrong!

Stopped by the Prairie Rose Café while passing through Laramie on a recent trip. I would rather patronize a local eatery rather than consume the plastic pre-made breakfast at a local hotel. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was good, piping hot and filled the bill. Better than the franchise places that line the highway. Worth the trip
