Diner Breakfast Experience

Loved this little hometown diner. Very small but a fun place to go for local color and really good homemade breakfast food. Large Portions! Save room for some homemade pie!

Everything was great at Prairie Rose. The special was a country fried steak breakfast burrito - which was awesome. Kids found something they liked too. A homemade piece of pie washed it all down. Great place for breakfast anytime!

Great place for breakfast. The pancakes are very large and inexpensive. They also have the best breakfast burrito around. Definitely a better choice than any chain restaurant in town when it comes to breakfast.

I have taken my first and second grade multiage class to Prairie Rose for breakfast for the past couple of years; this is the culminating event for our Downtown Laramie unit. The folks at. Prairie Rose are kind and welcoming, even to a group of six and seven year old children who are, well, not the silent type. The food... More

If like me, you've never lived in America, you have a chrome plated, black and white checkered vision of what an Anerican dinner is supposed to look like. Well, the Prairie Rose will not fulfill the visual, but it satisfies by its authentic atmosphere. Old town photos on the wall and a clearly very meaningful black and white group photo... More

The food was great. Hot, crispy and mashed potatoes were delicious. We also got a burito to go and it was delicious also to eat at home. This should be the highest rated restaurant in Laramie.

The coffee is good and strong. Hash browns were perfectly cooked and served nice and hot. Didn't get the OJ I ordered but wasn't charged for it. Place has a nice 50s-60s style decor. Decent service. Lots of locals came in while we were there who were greeted by name - don't see that type of relationship unless the food... More

Best breakfast in town. Very nice people and terrific food with great prices. Our go to place for Sunday mornings. Go early cause they do get busy!

I really enjoy going to the Prairie Rose for breakfast. It's fun to watch and listen to the local residents and adventurers talk and carry on about the coming days' activities (or yesterdays storytelling). Food is a little above average and good quality. Staff and owner are very friendly and will make you feel at home!
