An absolutely excellent coffee shop and more. Classic coffee shop karma, and some of the best roasted-right-there-coffee you could find anywhere! Been there many years and the locals love it, but visitors hardly know about it.

Great coffee, but...

I watched the waitress in the back making a sandwich, her long hair was Almost in the mustard. The health department needs to visit.

Stopped by for a beer and lite dinner. Not many options for dinner, but the BLT is solid and the pretzels are worth a visit all on their own. They are a perfect balance between a hard and soft pretzel. When in town I'll definitely go back for a fine craft beer and some pretzels

We had breakfast here and got a taste of the more studenty-quirky side of Laramie. Great coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls (called "pull-aparts" which were delicious without the sugar icing that often drowns cinnamon rolls). Quiche was very nice as was the yogurt. Good place to find out about goings-on in town.

My husband and I were recently in Laramie on a business trip/vacation. The Coal Creek Coffee shop was conveniently located in the shopping center next to our hotel. So, it was a quick and easy trip on our way to start our day. We could have opted for free coffee at the hotel, but this was definitely worth it! They... More

Great espresso and pastry. Adorable little place with great service. Even purchased some bags of coffee to bring home.

Coal Creek still has the good coffee and tea selection but has blown a hole in the side wall and expanded into a beer tap room. The only drawback is space: there are only tables for 2 and bar stools. So it is rather cramped but the idea is excellent. Nice to place to grab a drink, sit and relax.... More

Before we left Laramie to embark on the road to the Snowy Mountains, we were looking for a place to eat. Always wanting something different and local, we picked Coal Creek Coffee Company. I liked the atmosphere. My spouse had a BLT for $8 and I had a chocolate raspberry muffin $3.00 and tea. The food was good and the... More

On our way out of town, we stopped in to grab a cup for the road. I was sorry we couldn't stay longer. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this relatively small but lively shop. The pastry looked great but the display is right in front of the order counter so it's hard to see until you get to the counter... More

Okay, I couldn't find the Taphouse listed, but it is an adjunct to Coal Creek Coffee so this is the next best thing. The Taphouse has been open less than a year and is a "nano brewery", with few keg batches of beer tapped through the bar wall- usually at least a dozen different and quite eclectic beers. One is...
